I like the Nvidia Shield and Chromecast more than the Apple TV but Apple TV is more responsive. If you want to save money and don't mind a little lag, Chromecast does its job. If you want something for gaming and streaming, Nvidia but you do pay more. Apple TV will fit better if you're in the ecosystem and don't mind paying a little extra.

I bought apple tv4k after ui in my android smart 65” tv got extremely slow after 3 years, I never looked back after that, it is the best thing ever for your tv

I got mine for a solid discount, never planned on being an apple TV owner. But wow its the greatest experience possible for media related stuff. The remote is absolutely god tier.

I totally agree that they should make a smaller Ultra, but at the same time, reducing the size reduces everything else in the watch. Until they can get the same amount of battery and components in a smaller frame without compromising on ANYTHING, I don’t think there’ll be a smaller Ultra. I’m lucky enough that I have big wrists for my size and weight. The watch fits me perfectly.

I have the ultra and after 8 hr at work I get arm fatigue I love the battery life so I guess it’s worth it and I don’t have to charge it every day and if it gets low it charges so fast 💨 I think it’s worth ladies I don’t have to worry about my screen getting scratches

i think its neither underrated nor overrated. its rated as good as it should. it would be underrated if it has usb c port so we can connect our external drives for home movie server. instead, we have to use our old laptop and plex. and im pretty sure apple tv can handle 1080p60 encode decode.

Hello Chris. Any update of this dock. I’m planning on getting it. But I’m debating between owc go dock and this dock. The m2 option in great but I have very nice experience with owc. Owc is very reliable I don’t know about sonnet.

You can buy a decent 3d printer for as low as £150 and filament can cost as low as £10 for a kilogram… a kg of filament can print you like 20 accessories. It’s economies of scale. Think outside the box and the possibilities of what you can achieve outside of apple accessories with a 3d printer.

You really see the limits of smart TVs when you start ripping / hosting your own media on Plex, Emby, and Jellyfin, because anything with PGS subtitles will force a transcode when subtitles are enabled on my $2000 LG OLED, but with the app on the Nvidia Shield Pro it works fine. Dedicated media devices also have better codec support etc. Most TVs probably aren't going to support AV1, but dedicated devices that are new enough will.

Apple Arcade is such a wasted potential and I don’t think they have been getting enough indie games on there. I only have Arcade as part of Apple One but I wouldn’t have paid for it on its own.

Apple TV for it´s own is great. But Apple products in general are bad. They force you to buy more and more apple devices. Also the compatibility is very bad. And here it shows it´s uglyness. You need Apple more and more.

Try the software called Boom Audio on your MacBook. It fixed my kantu speakers and they play so much better with it. Great setup!

When I called them to see what the hell was going on, they wanted double the money! State consumer affairs complaint filed and still unresolved.

I can’t quite picture what you mean? Do you mean like a slightly transparent box going over text? You could by just applying a shape and animating it’s size across the top and changing the animation

I got the Apple TV yesterday. I don't know what I was expecting, but I guess I'm bored of it already. I guess it's more responsive, but I honestly never really thought it was that big of an issue on the Roku. It wasn't slow enough where I found it annoying. What I like about it is it controls the volume and power of my TV. Not sure how it does that when it's just connected through HDMI. I like that it has Airplay and I can basically use my TV as a second screen for my Macbook wirelessly (althogh not perfect). I like how it works with my Airpods. I like how I can find the remote with my phone. I like how I have the option of using my phone as a remote. What I don't like is it doesn't have a browser on it. I can't play Xcloud games on it, even though I feel like it should be able to.

There is no issue with the size of the Apple Ultra. It's a purpose-driven watch designed for the outdoors, adventures, cycling, diving, and more. Plus, it's still smaller than my G-Shock Mudmaster.

If the audio is crackling that will most likely be down to your tv or speakers. failing that, try switching to a new hdmi cable as yours may be damaged. The audio quality issues shouldn’t be caused by the Apple TV itself.
