It's fucking incredible how there can be such a strong and brilliant silence or at least that's what I can feel every time I listen to this specific song. Rest in power a soul that was as brilliant as her works.

SOPHIE was, a singer, composer, producer, and also a british DJ, also known for her synthesized and electronic sounds in pop music. SOPHIE worked with artists such as, Charli XCX, Vince Staples, Kim Petras, Madonna, etc. She also collaborated with PC Music, along with A.G Cook. SOPHIE became known thanks to her singles "BIPP" (2013), and "LEMONADE" (2013) which were later compiled into "PRODUCT" along with other singles at the time. Her first studio album "Oil Of Every Pearl's Un-Insides", released in 2017, also this album was nominated for a grammy for best dance/electronic music. Sadly SOPHIE passed away in January 2021, after having an accidental fall in Greece, Athens. She was born on September 17, 1986 in Glasgow (Scotland), where her interest in music began when she was little; her father played electronic music cassettes. At nine years old, she began writing her own songs and even asked her parents if she could drop out of school to be a music producer; Shee finally continued her studies. In her adolescence she continued composing songs, and even promised herself that "She wouldn't leave her room until she made an album." During that period she learned to be a DJ and producer. She began her musical career in a band called Motherland, and later collaborated with artists on the PC Music label, such as A. G. Cook and Danny L. Harle. In 2013 she released her first single, "Nothing More To Say", which included "Vox", "Dub" and "Eeehhh". Some time later she released the single "Bipp", which received the attention of specialized critics. , and even Pitchfork ranked it 56th among the best tracks of the 2010-2014 period. Additionally, in 2014 she also released the single "Lemonade"; song that was part of a McDonald's advertising campaign.
