Is it that the song is just bad or is it that they are just singing it unwell...or is it both?

I had to look up old British money conversions for this song lol. Makes Harry Potter money actually seem sane by comparison.

It's so sad these kids only got 500 quid for their performances. No royalties. Thankfully laws take better care of child stars now, though too late for Jack.

Not sure if Ron Moody deserved to be put in the category of best actor or supporting actor, but the 1969 awards are known for a lot of hits & misses. For the actor categories anyway, both wins were for performances in films that are very little seen or cited by audiences today. 1.) lead actor Cliff Robertson in charly - Robertson launched a particularly aggressive advertising campaign that raised questions about whether the award was bought. 2.) supporting actor Jack Albertson in The Subject was Roses - both the film and the performance got contemporary reviews that gave mild praise but acknowledged that actress Patricia Neal was the real standout in the film.

is this song some form of taunting to taunt Oliver? I am curious I really would like to know the answer to that
