When I was young .. I use to pull certain types of plants and flowers to munch on.. flowers would get the nectar from .. not sugary sweet but sweet enough.. .. 4 leave clovers I would eat .. not always ones with 4clovers but tasted the same

The only problem I can see from this video is using a tea towel and if it is washed with chemicals you are then soaking the lettuce with it, and it will add the perfume scent into the lettuce.

Is that the sea in the background? The valley mentioned doesn’t seem to be near the sea?

Reduced there produce from 50gms to 20gms. Price is reduced by only 30% and the leaves now are mostly stalks. Laughable. Do you think people don’t see your exploitation. You are selling herbs for god sake .. Not caviar!! Won’t be purchasing anymore or my friends. Don’t insult us!!

I grow cabbage in my back yard. I have cabbage white butterflies as well, but I allow them access to the cabbage and they lay their eggs and then the caterpillars eat the cabbage. I share the cabbage with the caterpillars. Save the butterflies! So let's make friends with the butterflies.

I love wild garlic and had two bags with my order this week. I washed beforehand but then read somewhere that it should be washed in hot water because it might have fox poo or something on it and can be toxic if not washed in hot water 😮. Is this true? He didn’t wash it at all.

I’ve eaten samphire from the Norfolk marshes for decades and don’t recognise the stuff they sell in the shops. Why is your samphire not stringy? We cook ours until you can pull the tender flesh from the ‘string’ and then add vinegar and black pepper. Incidentally, we pronounce it samfer in Norfolk.
