You know, looking back at this anime, there is no logical reason as to why "Chainsaw" is the strongest fear/devil and me thinks that the author watched american 80's slasher movies and Ash vs Evil Dead and made an anime based on that. which would explain the arbitrary reason why the Chainsaw Devil is the strongest and the chosen one

So, I love this fight and the extra FOUR MINUTES of sakuga they gave us. The only gripe I have, which is really stupid, is Denji’s “I’ve been so patient speech” compared to the manga. I KNOW it’s stupid, but I just see it like this: Anime: Zaney moment where he genuinely delivers a hearty line about wanting to touch boobs, followed by a climactic soundtrack as a shouts at the sky, confusing the life out of the Bat Devil. Manga: Unhinged maniac with broken hands and Chainsaw arms keeps his adrenaline running, by telling himself exactly what he’s fighting and suffering for, killing his enemy’s confidence. I guess I just think of what it’d be like if the manga’s brief “Cause even though I’ve been patient through all this awful crap, I still haven’t touch ‘em’ a little!” had been animated.
