What do you mean it doesn't have the sound like a 296? Have you heard or driven one? I have a 296 GTS and it sounds miles better than the pista. Not even close. Go test drive one, you'll see.

That comment was before when I was taken for a ride in one. But , after this weekend (11/09-11/10) where I was doing Corso Pilota in a 296, I realized the guy who took me for a ride was not hard on the acceleration. In the driver seat when you are full throttle, the 296 has a very nice sound. Hearing it from the side of the track it was good, but not overly aggressive. The car in all is a total beast on the track! Great choice in acquiring one!

I have and its not "miles better" lol. Taken both on track and at full blast the Pista sounds better. 296 cabin is much nicer though.
