Thank you for taking the time to demonstrate this. I’m going to try your method next time, as I found the way I have previously been doing this caused “puffiness” on the front. I think you add an extra stitch on the back. Very helpful. 😊

I would love to know what pattern is (or where you find your patterns), as it is marvelous. Thank you for the tutorial. I am a beginner with mosaic, although barely an intermediate in regular crochet. You inspire me!

How do you have such clean thread change? No matter how I try my graph work is sloppy at color change

As this is overlay mosaic you don’t change colour. Every row is worked in one colour using DC’s in back loop and drop down dc’s in front loop.

O.M.G. .... What a time saver! Just started on another two chains of 172 with DC (SC) first row, and I wish I had known this method years ago! Thanks for the tip of a whole size bigger hook, I normally would only use a 0.5 bigger hook, so glad I knew this up front. Brilliant!!! (en bij jij inderdaad een Nederlandse?)
