Found it is much easier to make these with Bosal foam instead of interfacing and gives a nicer finish.

I loved your content. Thanks for the tips on shirring. I’ve got one cheap machine that loves it and my Juki doesn’t like shirring, so I need to practise with the trend. I’ve just finished making a Nicks dress and love it. I’m on my second version. Your fabric choice would be great for it.

Thanks for the tips about shirring. I also have a Brother machine and did a trial piece while waiting for my Mabel box to arrive (came today thank you). The trial piece was a disaster and I was thinking I maybe had to use the fabric with another pattern. However .. I will now have another attempt following your tips so watch this space.

My brother machine does not like shirring... I gave up! I bought a janome but haven't tried shirring with this one. Corbra corsage... nooooo! What stitch length did you use for your shirring?
