I’ve done that before when my iPhone 11 when it got stuck on the Apple logo and it went straight into recovery mode because I was trying to fix it on 3u tools, but it had an error where it said ram disc, unable to load ram disk and then whenever I removed it, it turned onto the Apple screen, then went to recovery. Then I exited out of recovery mode through the same program 3utools

Now both my iPhone 11 and I've had many 5th generations are working. I managed to get them restored through dfu mode on iTunes

With the iPhone 5s that didn’t activate, did you try putting a Sim card in? If not, maybe try that and see if it activates for you?

I saw a different iOS recovery mode. After that first progress bar it showed the first iOS version of the iTunes logo and then the first time I saw it going to recovery mode it had the blue iTunes logo and I thought it may have got completely downgraded to ios 6.0

That’s so cool! I have an iPhone 12 Pro demo unit on iOS 14.1. My local T-Mobile store gave it to me since that knew I wanted a demo unit. The apps and screensaver don’t work though

From the curved A on the passcode locked 5s I could tell it iOS 8 or 7. Shame you had to restore it but at least it was FMI Off. a pre iOS 10 iPhone 5s has always been my dream but I have not gone around to get one yet.

It was 8 because it said iphone requires your passcode after restarting, on iOS 7 it just said enter passcode after restarting

my 3gs is disabled, i don’t know the password, i doubt there was icloud back then too. goal: dont lose data and get out of disabled mode. would that be possible without losing data? does this thing you did lose data

I got not good condition iphone 8 wihout finger print faster and crack black glass for around 35$ it that worth? Cuz i check in 3utool everything is org but battery and font camera and finger printer reader are not i also guess display is not screen either cuz is miss matching color
