Basically what I am showing is that you'll hook the latch hooks into the anchors in the seat and tighten the belt down. When I flip the from of the base up I am showing that, that movement is normal when the car seat is installed properly. As that movement of the car seat helps absorb impact in the even of an accident. you'll feed the belt thru that portion of the base and attach the hooks to the anchors and tighten it down. You'll check for tightness of the belt securing the base with your NON dominant hand with a firm shake or wiggle attempt of the base AT the belt path of the base. If installed properly there should be LESS than an inch of "wiggle" room at the belt path. Unfortunately I no longer work for the company but please feel free to contact them with any questions. They have the ability to do video chat or calls to assist with installation 😁

If you're pulling the handle in the seat that says pull to fold and it's not working you'll want to contact customer service. They should be able to assist you better as I do not work there any longer. I hope this helps.

The pin itself doesn't move. The grey plastic that hooks onto the pin is what you should be able to move to release it.

I used to actually work for safety 1st in their customer service dept. ☺️ To my knowledge from what I remember there weren't a lot of complaint or issues with that seat but it's been 3 years since I've worked there. Good luck in your car seat shopping 🙂

This car seat is the same type of car seat as the Jool, it's just the US version instead of Canadian. I used to work for the company that mfg the car seats. I apologize if you thought I was incorrect. I do however know the movement on this car seat in the video and the Maxi Cosi Jool will be the same if you're experiencing movement.

Thanks for your video showing me how too PUT this back together BECAUSE I was given this by a cousin of mine but It needed too BE washed and I DIDN'T pay attention how I taken it apart but u DIDN'T show the other tie straps THO IDK if u will see OR even read this but I still appreciate it if u can comment plz....THANKS AGAIN FOR THIS VERY HELPFUL VIDEO

The back of my canopy saga down- like the fabric isn’t attached to the back of the seat. Any suggestions or tricks?

There might be an elastic band on the back end of the canopy fabric, this band should allow the canopy to seem attached to the back of the car seat but it's not actually attached.
