This was a great video Bobby, I dont have people to kick with either and henced delved into the freestyle type of footbag. If you havent yet DO IT. Your kick skills are on point, next practice delays, then clippers, then the around the world, then the world is your oyster.

So what was your skill level like prior to you practicing for 1 year? Or did you start from little to know knowledge and practice for a year and then went to go play?

I learned to play when I was six years old but did not take it seriously until a year prior to this video. I did regular chess puzzles on chess.com and watched videos from Ben Finegold on famous games. I played in 1 tournament prior to this video and that is what most improved my play. Playing long, slow, 4 hour tournament games and analyzing them (and solving chess puzzles) I think is what best helps your play.

I'm a noob and don't play chess. At 2:38 why not take the pawn at D6 first? Would he have responded by moving the castle, so this was just a guaranteed way to get it off the board?

Yes. The rook is worth more than the bishop, so I was up material after this exchange.

At the end of the day this guy is still a hustler and has guaranteed cheated people out of money. I have zero respect for any of those guys. They try to distract you, they put their hands all over the board and your pieces, they always cheat the clock by grabbing their piece too soon, and they often put pieces halfway onto squares and then dispute where it was. They play garbage, disrespectful chess and you should never play them. I don’t care if this guy seemed nice, he was being filmed and knew he had to be on his best behavior. Even still he was annoying the whole time.

Hello, I stumbled upon you today looking for videos that can help me explain to my children why I am going to be taking a day of silence from time to time. I then saw this video and was interested in your top five books. As I appreciated your choices and share a few of them, I wondered if you’ve read A Confederacy of Dunces by John Kennedy Toole?? I think you may like it!

Good job, it can take some time, but you hustled hard and made that goal happen -- bravo! In the last 6 months I have also been hackin away again after a decade long hiatus, and I can say that I feel so much better now that I have started up again. I re-learned the basics that I always knew - but also learned how to be more consistent, especially with that front toe kick I usually turned into a knee pop move.

Funny that I actually read a lot of the books you mentioned before your top 5.(HATED “Of mice and men”, loved “The night” by Elie Wiesel). You should have mentioned “The lathe of heaven” right after the “Vision of the anointed” because the first explains the other. Speaking of the “Lathe of heaven.” It is probably obnoxious of me to say that if you were the doctor you would cause chaos, but I wouldn’t.

Hopeless romantic hipster. I bet that songs that left you misty eyed reminded you of some heart wrenching moments in your life. I’ve only ever heard 3 of the songs on your list: the one by Beatles, the “Great gig in the sky” and “One more time”, granted I didn’t grow up in USA. I understand why you like all of these songs. You are a musician yourself and can appreciate the complexity and depth of each performance. You would probably laugh 😂 at my top 10 list, but to each his own.

That is not blindfolded if you solve it blindfolded you shoudn't try to solve it while lookin the page. you should give youself a blindfold on. after lookng at the initial position. A chessplayer doesn't look at the board playing blindfolded.
@bobbynygaardchrisitansen6874
@bobbynygaardchrisitansen6874 2 жыл бұрын
what you did is still impressive but it is just solving it without writing clues and memorize the solution. But it is not done blindfolded. Solving everything in the head. blindfolded is Memorizing 9x9 position in under 1 minute and solve it.
