When Sheba came on board, she basically steamrolled Cassiopeia and Athena onto the sidelines and became the female lead of the show.

I watched the movie and then the series on TV in the Phil's. Missed out on StarWars as I was preparing for my CPA exams then. But loved the chemistry of Capt Apollo and Lt Sheba. In my mind they married and raised Boxey to become Capt Troy.

I grew up on BSG, but watched it again recently and had to Google this beautiful woman. Ive watched her on Magnum PI and Knight rider, now I'm trying to see her on C.H.I.P.S. & the Incredible hulk.

Bought in to replace Jane Seymour, not easy shoes to fill but Anne managed it beautifully.

Annie is so beautiful. Everyone raves about Cassie and Athena, but Sheba was always the one for me. And THIS is how you play a female Viper pilot. Not that caricature of the REAL Starbuck that the stupid "re-whatever" has done.

Sheba was my favorite.

Met her at a Starfest years ago. She wasn't as young of course , but still amazingly gorgeous. A treat Ill always cherish. BSG was the best and like Startrek only flourished after it was cancelled.

It was because of her (and to a lesser extent Jenilee Harrison of 'Three's Company') that I vowed to marry a blonde woman when I grew up. I was like 11 when I first saw the Goddess Sheba on 'Battlestar Galactica'. Anne Lockhart is an absolute angel! She is one of the most beautiful women to have ever walked this Earth. And, she looks so much like her mother, June Lockhart from 'Lost in Space. Not only did the apple not fall far from the tree, she blossomed into an even more beautiful tree of her own-one of eternal beauty. The only other woman to exceed her supreme perfection is Lynda Carter (A.K.A. Wonder Woman/ Diana Prince). But it was truly Anne Lockhart that shaped the man that I would become with regards to what women I would find innately attractive. And yes, I did marry a blonde woman-my very own Anne Lockhart now of 20+ years!

Just recognized her posing as the songwriter of "Like a Virgin" on "To Tell the Truth". I recognized her as a Lockhart from the beginning and was pretty sure it was Sheba. She wasn't fooling this 70s/80s kid. I'm just surprised that Weird Al Yankovic didn't recognize her.

I saw the series as a child and dreamed that it was her, because I was in love with Captain Apollo. It was my favorite series and I played in my imagination to be Sheba.

Her character, in addition to being very beautiful, had a Pat Benatar thing going for her: tough but also feminine and vulnerable.

I fell in love with Annie when she was on BJ and the Bear. There was an episode where she got thrown into a swimming pool and she looked so iincredibly beautiful. And then she got to play badass Lt. Sheba! It makes me wonder why she is SO underrated as an actor.

She comes from a 100+ year long stage famiily: Anne Lockhart is the daughter of June Lockhart (TV Lassie, Lost in Space, etc) and the granddaughter of Kathleen (English actress) and Gene (Canadian actor). In the 1938 film version of A Christmas Carol (Scrooge played by Reginald Owen), Gene played Bob Cratchit, Kathleen played Mrs. Cratchit and June had her acting debut as Martha Cratchit. She is also the great granddaughter of stage actor John Coates Lockhart.

I don't think Anne reminds of Francesca. She may not be as beautyful as miss Annis but she certainly has something that made us to sigh in admiration 30 years ago and still do. Miss Lochart <3 .

Anne is a sweetheart. A man should feel lucky to have her. She still looks good now and she is probably the easiest person to get along with. Why can't all women be like that??? Now everything is all about money. If you don't buy them something, they kick you to the curb, FAST!!!!!

Can somewon tell me what her ancestry is ? I have been watching the show again recently and have a new appreciation for her as an actress. I am going to guess some combination of English/Scottish/Irish and maybe part German but I am not sure.

@mrtelevision Oh yes. At least Boomer and Tigh were Black in the original. I don't remember if there were any Black characters in the new one.

@quarqill Anne Lockhart's husband I believe was killed in an accident. As for her mother, June, if the guy is a man (adult), that shouldn't be a problem.

"Sheba" was a great role for all women of the time when BST was made - A charactor that erned respect from men for her ability to act while mixing her charm with her skills in acting wish there were more actors like that around rather than the superficial people of this time

She is just naturally attractive, not all makeup like alot of the stars today.

In real life Anne Lockhart is an excellent equestrian.
