I wish I could afford book boxes. I have been inspired by all the "blind date with a book" videos I have seen. I am currently going to second hand stores and grabbing books with wintery themes, going home and instantly wrapping them so i will forget what they are. I wrao them all the same and is gonna make some kind of bookish advent calender for myself.

I love that! I've seen folks that will wrap their current collection and will unwrap them when they are looking for their next book to read. I think it's a fun way to be more excited about your next book! Book boxes are great but they do cost a lot of money. I feel very privileged to be able to buy them.

What does "fantasy smut" mean? I've heard the word smut a lot but no one has answered what it means yet. English is not my first language. Thank you for sharing. I am looking forward to Funny story because I liked Happy place, but I am waiting for my library to get it.

Smut books are books that have a lot of sexual content. Smut isn't a genera per say but people will classify a book as smut with there is a lot of sexual content so any genera can also be smut. I hope that helps 🙂 I can't wait to read Funny Story! I heard it's really good!

The metal bookmark is beautiful. And the sprayed edges on the second book are gorgeous! 🐲 I like when the cover goes around the book in a big scene or two scenes instead of the back being blank. 😍 And I agree, ecspectations can ruin a book.

Since I am from another country, do the pens/pencils really have LEAD in them? Not graphite?

That is a great question and no they are not actually lead. They are graphite. Some area in the US call them lead pencils because that is what they used to have in them and the nickname just stuck. I didn't even think about that when I said it haha

I wish we had room for more mugs. I like mugs, I rotate using them for tea. And a magnet would be way more useful for me than a pin. It should say on the pack though what book it's from. Edit, I just came to the place on the video where you discovered they have the inspo on the pack. 🤣

We have wayyy to many mugs. I actually got rid of some at the start of the year and then friends bought be a ton for my birthday. I'm like well at least I made room for the new ones! Not me laughing at myself that the answer to my own question was literally in front of me the entire time 😂

Thank you for shring your TBR. Pride is in august in my country so I am scouting for books to read then. I am the B and the T in LGBTQ so I wrote down a few of your recs. I have found that pure sapphic (is that how you spell it in english) is not my cup of tea, but a dash of it is always nice to see. In "regular books" that seem to be the most common type of LBGTQ rep that I have come across. Like two lesbian moms or one lesbian couple in a friend group etc. It is great, I hope with time that will expand to include more reps for the other letters as well. Or maybe I have just not found those books yet. /Caspian

I hope you have a wonderful Pride! I've actually found some with trans and ace representation which is hardly ever seen! I have so many LGBTQ books on my wish list that I am hoping to read this year. If I do I will try and make another video! I was searching around and noticed that there isn't a lot of videos on KZbin that have recs for LGBTQ books I want to get some more out there!
