And for the record...during certain times of the year, OR if someone is in the store that IS a shoplifter, they begin asking for reciept as a deterrant. you don't have to show them your receipt, next time they try to stop you simply walk away, if they physically detain ask for video records and head to you local court house and place a hefty lawsuit. You don't have to show your receipt it's protected by your constitution, all personal belongings cannot be searched without the consent of the owner, that includes your receipt and all personal belongings.
