Hi yeah united auto rebooked us on a flight the next day. Lufthansa took care of all hotel and meal costs. So can't complain.

I just barley got to see this monster depart! The only way I knew about it was because of the DFW Spotters FB page! Hope to see more of the 380 at DFW in the future!

Yeah, I hope it will come to DFW. I wouldn't mind seeing Qantas, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Emirates and even British Airways bring their A380s here, though British Airways, as far as I know has only one A380 in service right now. I'm not sure where it flies to from their London Heathrow hub.

I did this tribute because of the "Seinfeld" tribute that the show did before it ended. That's how I came up with the idea of the AA tribute.

@geegang They were taking off from Runway 18R, which is the runway the planes land on. Runway 18L, which the planes was taking off on, was mysteriously closed at the time. I'm not sure why.

What runway are they taken off from?
