Great to see FZ gone. I have a feeling Buster is a filler until they find someone more experienced. His hiring I think is to please the fans/season ticket holders. With that said, if Buster lets the actual GM do his job and Buster is there for encouragement in signings, then Buster might be on for a while. I’m hoping for the latter, Buster has seen how a team responds to an actual leader (Bochy). I hope for the best. Great to see you hop on for the great news. Well done.

If FZ is anything like B Beane, I see Ramos, Fitz and a couple of the other young players being traded for more old retreads. That’s how sabermetrics works. Leverage the future/young players for “guys who get on base” or “guys who can get you innings”.

We all know who's responsible for constructing this roster, and therefore who's responsible for the lackluster but predictable performance. Looking forward to the recap when you announce FZ's departure.

Doval pitching in the 10th speaks volumes about both Farhan and BoMel. They should both be marched like tomorrow. Just leave them in Arizona at the end of the upcoming road trip and they can find their own way home.

In all fairness to the SF Giants, 3/4 of the team are the Rivercats. (sarc). We appreciate your recaps and you are right, this team is a broken record brought to us by Baer/FZ etc. It will be the same next season if management doesn’t take a different direction. A direction that FZ is not capable of accomplishing.

This group of young guys could be a powerhouse of a team in a few years. These guys keep getting those major league at bats and growing and our future is bright.

Thank you for the recaps. As far as small ball goes, I don’t think that it’s in Melvins dna. Seattle, Arizona, Oakland, San Diego and now SF he rarely had guys steal, sacrifice, hit n run etc. He seems to like the walk followed by the long ball. This team is unfortunately lost until management changes this includes the CEO.

This recap is right, this team is on repeat. 2 teams with very comparable talent: MIL plays mistake free baseball, SF barely shows up and plays listless baseball. 2 teams with comparable skills: MIL headed for the playoffs, SF headed for the cellar.
