Nádherné zvíře❤!Člověk by je neměl zabíjet!I když je mi opravdu líto lidských obeti😢!Ale byl jsem už mockrát u toho,když i v Egyptě či jinde plaval kdekdo do hloubky I přes botky a nedodrzoval pokynů hlídky!Jen jednou jsem se nechal unést kouzlem korálů a barevných rybek,když opravdu cca 50 metrů ode mě plaval žralok!Od té doby už jsem to nikdy neudělal!

Outstanding. 15.5 knots upwind on a Weta is pretty strong.

Our personal recorded record is 15,9 kt. But I think that one day with the Genaker, and no many waves, and NO gps on board, we reached more: ¿17kt? But, there is no proof, there is no record...

@@Risck I have done just over 21 kts downwind under screecher. But upwind never comes close. About 15 to 16 kts is about all it'll do upwind.

Salut Jeff Non, le bateau est déjà vendu à un de vos compatriotes. Mais j'ai un lot de voiles presque neuves, si cela vous intéresse. Vous pouvez acheter le barre auprès de l'importateur pour l'Europe du Sud : RS / rsveleros.com/trimaran-weta/ Pour la vitesse, il a utilisé un Garmin Quatix au poignet, un Novasail NS 360 Pro (déjà vendu) dans le mast, et plusieurs caméras d'action avec GPS. Si vous regardez la dernière vidéo, vous la verrez mieux. Ma jambe est déjà à 95% merci. Too old to rock and roll, to young to die (J.T, dixit)

Very nice video, I don't know the weta and I'm interrested to buy one: I have a small question concerning the mainsail halyard. Have you modify the way it is installed ? So it means that you can easilty lower the main sail on the water if need. In fact on my catamran, this is nearly impossible or very difficult to lower the main sail on the water since the halyard is locked at the top of the mast. Once upons a time, a thunderstorm with a wind of higher than 40knots came on us and we were not able to remove the main.

C'est drôle que vous me le demandiez, car dans la vidéo c'est impossible à voir, mais j'ai FAIT modifier la drisse d'origine, après avoir eu une frayeur alors que je ne parvenais pas à descendre la grand-voile lors d'une tempête. J'ai changé la drisse d'origine pour une drisse sans butée ( V cleat), comme celle du foc. Si vous souhaitez acheter une Weta, voici l'importateur pour l'Europe du Sud : rsveleros.com/trimaran-weta/ D'ailleurs, celui de la vidéo est à vendre car j'ai été grièvement blessé lors du European Cup....

Must be a lot of drag where the crossbeam connects with the leeward float , especially when it is partially submerged. Why not fit a streamlined fairing to the vertical section? It might make a significant speed difference.

Hello Malin, it's a good idea for the manufacturer, but if I did it, I wouldn't be able to participate in regattas because I modified the boat substantially.
