Shakey Graves helped me beat alcoholism when I was in my early 20’s. The video on audiotree of Late July. I watched it once and it changed everything. I still like having a drink time to time today but it’s controlled now and not a part of me. I wish I could explain why watching and listening to that video had such a profound effect on me but I can’t. It just happened. The magic of his music man, still a fan all these years later at 31. Love Shakey and want the world for the guy. His music has done a lot for me when I didn’t have the strength to help myself.
