Hi! Thank you for your question. The amount of reimbursement depends per country. Scoozy C is both certified as mobility scooter and powered wheelchair. In some countries you can have more reimbursement as a powered wheelchair. In the UK this product is not on motability unfortunately. In the Netherlands you can buy it with a personal budget, a partial reimbursement. Hope this answers your question.

The big wheels are good for challenges of rugged terrain. Smaller wheels of 10 to 12 inches would be ideal for urban terrain. Front wheels should be slightly smaller than the back wheels to give it a snazzy look. Good design is of paramount importance for a unique profile and be a cut above others.

Thank you for your comment! I get your point regarding the small wheels in the front for design. We chose large wheels in the front to make it easier to climb obstacles. So in our case Form follows Function. From experience I can also tell there are major differences in urban environments. From smooth bike lanes in Holland to high curbs with little ramps in Brussels and hilly villages in Portugal with rough paved roads. So even in some urban areas large wheels might be more convenient. But as you can see in this video it’s a trade off with turning radius and size and what you personally like in design.

I like scoozy except the wheels are too big. 10 to 12 inches would be ideal. Front wheels could be smaller to give it sporty look.

I love these mobility scooters. Got some useful information from this video. The seat doesn't fold down which means I couldn't use it in the storage unit provided where I live. Great and informative video thanks.

These scooters look great and no doubt perform great. I looked on TGA Mobility (I live in the UK)website and even with tax relief they're over £8000 which while I don't doubt their quality is way out of the reach of people here. And of course you get what you pay for so I'm not criticising Scoozy in the least. Great video and mobility scooter!!

but its only for the wealthy....... not many disabled people have the capital to get such a thing.... I know I have had to save 18 months for my new (2nd hand) scooter so think of this as a porcshe bascially something your only ever gonna see in this youtube video

Hi @12bigredd, Thank you for your remark. It depends where you live if reimbursement is possible. Please note that Scoozy C is certified both as mobility scooter and powered wheelchair. In some countries it is possible to get more reimbursement for a powered wheelchair. Hope this helps!

Ik heb de scoozy een aantal maanden gehad en bereden en wat deze man beweerd klopt niet , de vering is zeer slecht zeker als je rug en heup problemen hebt en op onverhard wordt je alle kanten op geduwd en elke hobbel en oneffendheid voel je op vlakke wegdek zullen er zeker geen andere scootmobielen zijn die zo lekker rijden maar onverhard , in het bos of slecht bestrate straten dan heb je het fysiek heel zwaar en ik heb hem echt getest maandne lang in en lease maar heb M.S. en zes Neuropathy ziekten die zenuwen aantasten etc en dan is deze stoel niet geschrikt ook als je rug letsel heb geahd

Beste @ultraradioeu2732, wat jammer dat Scoozy niet goed genoeg is voor de klachten die u ervaart. Het blijft altijd persoonlijk en belangrijk om te kijken welk product het beste past bij iemands individuele pijnklachten en/of mobiliteitsbeperking. Voor Oscar bleek Scoozy een perfecte oplossing voor revalidatie na zijn knieoperatie. Helaas was dit voor u niet het geval met de pijnklachten die u ervaart. Het beste is om het product zelf te ervaren en uit te proberen. Dat heeft u in ieder geval goed gedaan. Hopelijk vindt u een product dat goed past bij uw behoefte.
