There are many other forms of treatment than what psychiatrists usually prescribe, treatments that do work. They may not all make the voices or visuals go away, but they can change how the voices or visuals treat you. For me they did. I used many outside-psychiatry treatments, and the one that worked the best, must've been "Shadow Work", a psychological thing where you identify and change your own personality trait. I identified it with astrology, looking at my birth chart ascendant, and then used the schizophrenia voice to help me "shift" that part of my personality, and I succeeded. There are different forms of psychosis and schizophrenia, but what may be common for them, is they attach themselves to you when you have a certain "energetic vibration". You may think it's unscientific hippie talk, but it's very real. Emotions can also repel the un-bodied entities (egregores, demons), for me laughter and devotion worked well. I should post my story too, so people can get a picture of this. Sorry for sharing, I hope this is not out of place.

Matt, I not only appreciate the content of this video, but the informal presentation as well; just parked in your car in a natural setting. It felt relaxed and very one on one, with no outside noise or distractions. Thanks for sharing your story 👍

I'm a doctor, and when a drug takes 27 years to cure, surely thats not the correct route.
@jackieaugustus8085Ай бұрын
What is the "correct" route. My son was born with a high IQ and after being in prison for 2 years he came out with severe mental health issues. I'm sure being in prison played a part,but millions of people go to prison and come back "normal". They told me that he had multiple times of substance abuse. Where do I start helping him. He is currently in a hospital. He is taking respiritol.

Todays politics is confusing and negative. This is called “ Postmodernism “. Postmodernism was invented in 1970 with Jacque Derrida. This philosophy says many things. It is nihilistic. It says that objectivity does not exist. It says that words don’t represent truly what they should. Now how useful is this? Yet this philosophy influences college teachers, and the liberal arts. So, if you are confused listening, it may be because the person is “constructing Truth”. Leftists do this a lot because Postmodern philosophy has been integrated with neo Marxism. I have spent the last three years studying politics trying to unravel how I am being manipulated. -How the media is lying to me. Anyway, there is a vast pothole you can fall into if you start believing you should be constructing your “personal reality.” And this is what Postmodern philosophy is. On you Tube Postmodern professors are: Ryan Chapman Stephan Hicks 2018 Daniel Bonevac I don’t have a mental illness. But modern life gives me a tangled web I have to organize. So now I am making clear of what today’s media messages are giving me. So, if you are trying to unscramble how a person treated you, it may be because of the negative influence of Postmodernism on your conversation. Generally, Leftists use Postmodernism and Conservatives reject Postmodernism. Conservatives believe objectivity exists; Leftists reject objectivity and logic. This is by political design. Herbert Marcuse, the Father of Leftism wrote to “reject logic.” Can you see how this would affect generations of people? I hope presenting this “pothole of life” helps you to sort things out. Once I learned about this pervasive negative influence on people I became happier and less troubled by political conversations.

NAC which is N-acetyl cystine, seems to help schizophrenic people. It is a substance good for many other problems. I use it to stop mucus clearing/ coughing. But it triggers glutathione production. See videos on NAC. This is an amino acid. It detoxifies the liver too. It is fascinating.

This video has inspired me to strive for greatness. What emotions are you experiencing after the launch of the film about your cross-Canada mental health bike ride? As someone who runs a dream interpretation channel, I'd love to hear how dreams may reflect the emotional journey portrayed in your film and how they could offer insights into your current state of mind. I appreciate the vulnerability and courage it takes to share such a personal journey, and I've liked and subscribed to your channel to show my support.

I was just thinking that there is a way to slow my mind and I need to find the one which works best for me. I eat up so many nutrients because I am active both mentally and physically, that it would be more efficient to slow down and use fewer resources. I think focusing on a single thought or concept/idea rather than letting my thoughts flow much of the time, although allowing thoughts to flow is also good, just in it’s own appropriate time. I used to meditate daily and multiple times each day, yet haven’t over the past decade since life events took me in a direction away from this. I’ll continue to attempt incorporating more of this and other methods of stillness and focus. Also today, I decided that I must walk daily to better organize my thoughts and ground myself better while in connection with the outdoors. Remaining indoors too much can induce anxious feelings, so it’s helpful to strike a balance. This sounds like a book I’d like, so will look it up!

We try again so frequently that it may be taken for granted so often that this is more than a mechanism for learning. I imagine that this happens far more frequently than any amount of roaring that we do. So much of the subtlety of life is underestimated, and we get far more satisfaction from it because this is where we build a foundation, develop confidence, tools and experience. Great message.
