TW: SA This song hits so hard for me. I was molested by my uncle when i was around 6-7 years old. It would happen everytime i went over to my aunts house. It was only about a year ago that i realised what happned to me was acctually real. When i discovered it, i felt so sad and confused, and violated, and even betrayed. Now all i feel is anger and hatred toward him. And john if your reading this, i hope you burn in hell, and your wife does as well, because she saw but never did anything about it.

This song is wonderful to listen to whenever I go to abandoned cemeteries. I enjoy repairing the tombstones, cleaning them up, finding unmarked graves, and leaving fresh flowers for each grave. This song is somewhat very aesthetically pleasing for those given times and can cause a bit of nostalgia, especially if the cemetery has that 'certain' smell to it. The smell of old books or old perfume that your grandmother would wear, ya'know? It's just so comforting and this song has always been a go to for times like that, for me, at least. I always play it with some headsets though, to not disturb the dead with music not of their era, but it's still very relaxing and enjoyable.

What an honest and incredibly brave song to sing. The truth is so uncomfortable for people to face but Nicole Dollanganger brings it to you with harmonious sound and an angelic voice. Incredible.❤

The song isn’t about sexual abuse though...it’s about a short story..I went through that kinda stuff myself and I get uncomfortable when people take the song the wrong way 😅

@@bunzoteric ah..as I said before it makes me uncomfortable because I got molested..not because the song itself is uncomfy 😅, the reason I get upset is because people often try to bring up without putting proper trigger warnings..it can be really really harmful to victims of it if people don’t put warnings ahead of time, however I completely agree people can interrupt the song as they want! I just wish people would consider the actual victims before speaking about it..it’s kinda..more harmful then good for us..and I know a lot of people don’t really know that and just want to be helpful or supportive! I just wish they thought it over a lot more sometimes

@@RedditStoryNights yup. Grew up poor. Sexual harassment and abuse is taken seriously if youre a girl (and it should be) but for young men, its not. Ive had multiple old women grab my junk and worse. A lot of times in front of adults and they just laugh. They call young men lucky, they call young girls victims. Society..
