2.5 hour battery? Those aren't the stacked lithium batteries are they? I would hope their new tools would be coming out with their new batteries

I feel like it would be stronger if the gap was in the middle as opposed to one side. Great idea though.

I have a DCF860 and it doesn't struggle when it gets halfway, it actually kicks down a gear. You can clearly hear it drop rpm in a instant instead of struggle. It's probably to protect the tool on lags. It doesn't do it on standard screws and fasteners

It also is more likely to do it with larger batteries especially the 5ah PS and the new 8ah PP. It hasn't dropped a gear while using a 1.7 PS or a 4ah XR on me yet.

Great informative video, thank you. I have not seen one of these before, it looks like a big time saver. Usually when I need a ratchet strap, like most people, I don't have any with me and I have to buy a couple new ones somewhere close by.

I need them to ripoff Milwaukee's thing that attaches to the wall with suction.

Why does everyone do reviews with a lean on power ? For those that actually use these every day it's obvious there is more to it than that, tangible or not. For me as a Milwaukee 98% inventory I love the Hikoki drills way more than others.

😂😂 couldn’t align beam & detector @ 8’ … what makes u think u could align @ 200ft ? That model laser should be used on a tripod for elevations … Laser that BIG is going to have A LOT of bounce wen hung … preforms best on a level surface

I have the DCF845 and i decided on this impact after tons and tons of research. 99% of the time i am on mid speed. Not the highest one. Not worth the upgrade for something that you will never use and double the price. buying for bragging rights is stupidity and that belongs to Milwaukee guys. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I really do not need to upgrade, the dcf845 works well for me and does everything I need.

Yeah I've seen some comparisons on KZbin that show the dcf840 running strong against the newer DeWalts.

They're becoming TEMU, pumping out substandard gadgets. Stick to improving the basics; like more brushless motors, heavy- duty housing and switches.

Where's the magnet tray on the drill and impact driver?

Honestly I nevered used it starting in the trades. I found the screws would fall off or poke my hand. I am kinda surprised someone misses that feature

Can you compare the new sub compact drill and impact driver to the older models? That would help people find out if an upgrade would benefit them.

The telescoping nozzle is a nice feature. It looks impressive blowing leaves off an indoor/outdoor carpet in a controlled environment. How about demonstrating the blower in a real life situation with a heavy cover of wet oak leaves or spruce needles.

We're starting to see the variable nozzle lengths more and more-it's a useful feature for sure. We'll eventually get this in for hands-on testing.
