The great thing about scooters is that almost everythings is inside the cage, the really expensive stuff is relatively protected by the cage. If that had been a motorcycle, probably parts of the engine would be still in the road.

Yeah I can under State how lucky I got. I am a fan of Maxi scooters in the U.S.

Your tire story scares the hell out of me, now I need to go see if my sidewalls are made of kevlar. I wouldn't restitch that jacket. You got lucky that rip didn't open up more. I would just replace it. I highly recommend the Forma ADV Tourer Boots for commuting on a scooter, and they look normal (actually really nice) when just walking around. They are not cheap, but they will for sure keep you from getting any more holes in your feet. Also they are super comfortable.

Tire I bought from shinko. Ebay. They did refund me. I was not even going to try to ask for more. I will look into those. For now just going to make my repairs replace what I can and get back into it. :)

@@HRTBRKD0G I was noticing that the slice was a straight line and if the slice had come from an object on the road, it would not have been a straight line because the wheel would have been turning. Someone cut across that tire with a box cutter or something.
@HRTBRKD0G3 ай бұрын
@@ariesmarsexpress all I know is that too. The company said it looked to be road damage and not a defect. I'm more willing to believe someone was unloading it and they took a box cutter to hear thinking it wouldn't slice through. But damage is already done

@@HRTBRKD0G thank you for reviewing the Highlander, I want to get one maybe this year. I have an 07 Avalon so I’m familiar with the motor. I want the Highlander mainly for its cargo space , I’m undecided on fwd or awd . Thanks again for your honest review of the Highlander

@@bob-o9865 please, please, please, take this with a large grain of salt. I do not live in an area where it snows often enough to warrant getting all wheel drive. I did not want the maintenance hassle. Nor to replace all four tires with said all wheel drive. If the area you live in does get a lot more snow or if you plan to do some light off-roading. Get all-wheel drive if you do not do either of these. Some good all-terrain/ snow tires and front-wheel drive and some driving practice and skill will get you a far away.
