@txxr542 the MGW should feel extremely solid and have little to no play in it. Mine isn't sloppy at all unlike the stock one.

You have the non P. I. 4.6 and it's not even the mustang tune. Your cars version of the 4.6 was only rated at 215hp

@@max_moto5158 Thank you for the info. I have a dead cylinder (4) bad coil pac on tower 4 . I have 2 Expeditions a97 and a 1998 I will use a coil pack off one of those till I can get two Motor Craft . No Chinese CRAP!

The trusty old 2v 4.6 ford…. Amazing engine. It just aways feels like it should keep revving to the moon but those dang heads just didn’t flow right for the motor. 7000 rpm should have been ford goal then 8000 for the 4v. Transmission manufacturers like 😢😢😢

@@infernoauto Ahh you don’t need deep pockets if you boost it. I’m at 448/410 with a used Vortech and FMIC. Boost alone is pretty cheap now. 500+ at the crank for under 18k total and reliability… that’s hard to compete with

New Edge and SN95s are a great platform for any kind of build. They’re relatively cheap and abundant, have a ton of aftermarket support and decades of a knowledge base too. Whatever you want do do: motor swap, drag car, AutoX, Drift, Hill Climb etc., has already been done many times by many people. The Mod motors respond very good to boost, 2V and even more so the 4V. The 8.8 is stout and can be upgraded to 31 spline axels inexpensively. The chassis are based on the 78 Fairmont so still have an old school feel to them like a classsic muscle car but are easy to make handle and brake with even factory parts. That throw out bearing: I’m sure you know but if not, they need a little preload on them and not a little play like most.

I agree with you 100%! As for the throwout bearing I have it adjusted it to where it needs to be, I did that a little after recording this video.. its better but not great. I'll just have to live with it!

@@midnight347 You are absolutely correct! Same platform but there’s a lot of people who prefer one over the other so they seem to be treated as separate. I’ll even go as far to say, based on their size compared to the following generations (05-Today) SN95 Mustangs are the last of the true “Pony” cars 😁
