So I just ordered mine today and seriously can't wait. Im in Boca and was lucky enough to run into an older gentleman who had an execute and actually let me try it out. This thing is literally a tesla plaid on a bike frame. Scary speed. Awesome work guys!

Do you find the front wheel slips during accelerating on pavement when there's sand or grit? Ive got an old lwb uss with 16" front wheel I want to convert to front hub motor.

I love my E-CELLS Super Monarch Crown AWD e-mountain bile. @ wheel drive, dual suspension, 2 batteries (down tube and under the rear rack), SAMSUNG batteries, Shimano DEORE gear set, 2.2 mm thick brake rotors, and much more in good quality components. Nice for me it's from Pahrump, Nevada 60 miles north of LAs Vegas, where I live. I use it for hunting and trail riding. GREAT quality components from Japan, Thailand, Taiwan, USA and China. The designer cherry picked them for durability.

A couple of notices. Front hub motors put stress on the front fork. This can eventually lead to failure and the fork will break off. Trikes are heavy and add to that stress. 2. Trikes are unstable when turning corners and at higher speeds. The larger wheel diameter the more unstable. A motorized trike requires a lot of respect. It’s not designed for a motor. Attention must be paid to driving and maintenance. Never drive at a high speed. Even 20 miles an hour is pushing the limits. I am a long time motorized trike user and have lots of experience . Check the front fork often and switch the fork and stem out after a few years of hard use or purchase a new bike. Don’t risk catastrophic failure and personal injury. I will also mention that the rear axle can also fail if not replaced. These things can happen while you are driving and can cause serious injury. If you are thinking about a conversion use a high quality trike, not the cheapest one one the market.

I see what you mean. Appreciate the input. None of our approved e-bikes have failed. With about 3 years in business so far, no recalls or repairs on any of our models besides basic repair services on tires and brake pads.

Nice build too. I use a different format if set up on my modified e bikes. Both have 500watt gear motor, both equipped with 2000watt gearless as Turbo Booster. Very practical of how I use my e bikes of in neighborhood stop and go delivering while using turbo boost for extra cargo and straightaway streets if 35moh and higher.

Do you have to readjust the bolts in the back often , like the rack, brakes, ect?
@EscapadeEBikes
@EscapadeEBikes 9 ай бұрын
I advise always inspecting your e-bike before riding. Just as a regular bicycle or motorcycle. With that said we use the strong lock washers on most areas that see high vibration. Haven't found any loose bolts or nuts.
@user619tlsdca5
@user619tlsdca5 Жыл бұрын
Oh, how is the balance of the 2nd battery in the back rack? Is it a bit a long balancing or wide ?
@EscapadeEBikes
@EscapadeEBikes 9 ай бұрын
Great question. Weight distribution isn't as balanced as the original Escapade Covert but the Escapade Covert LX handles a bit tighter during cornering due to the extra weight over the rear wheel. Both e-bikes are lighter than the rider in most cases, so the handling will always be more responsive than a motorcycle or heavier bike.
@user619tlsdca5
@user619tlsdca5 Жыл бұрын
How much is the weight? It's good you using fat tires for this.
@EscapadeEBikes
@EscapadeEBikes 9 ай бұрын
The Escapade Covert LX has a weight of 112lbs. Fat tires are awesome for the slightly more contact surface than 2in tires. Also depending on tire pressure, the fat tires give a bit of suspension without too much suspension. Allows for very accurate and tight lines through turns.

I built a dual motor full suspension fat bike. Do you have the "death wobble " on the front end ( inertia from the wheel, front fork flex, flex from the fat tire at certain psi, I even upgraded to a double crown fork) with the front wheel/ motor tire in certain sketchy conditions. Mine is so bad at times in rocky conditions it wants to rip the bars out of my hands. I was wondering since your setup is rigid vs my full suspension.
@EscapadeEBikes
@EscapadeEBikes 9 ай бұрын
Great question. Haven't experienced the death wobble on any of our e-bike models. Not fully sure if that is caused by fork suspension issues or not. Possibly the frame isn't straight. I have experienced death wobble on motorcycles both at low speed and high speed. When I increased air pressure on the front fork it seemed to help out with that issue. With that said, I've found every bike and rider combo is a bit different when fine tuning.

64 mph at 3000watts???
@EscapadeEBikes
@EscapadeEBikes 9 ай бұрын
We reached 66mph on the Rampage and the Execute. The Execute equipped with 9kw of peak power does get you to 66mph quicker. Not to say the Rampage is slow by any means. The Rampage can kick you off if you full throttle from stand still if your not prepared for the launch. With that said, I advise using extra caution when riding the Rampage or Execute just because it has so much available power on launch.

I'm thinking of using my Ariel Rider Kepler to set up like a Grizzly, one display screen and a switch for the motors on, off or dual. I'm not sure why the grizzly electronics won't be applicable to a dual motor, dual batter Kepler.👍 Your idea is very cool.. Enjoyed the video.
