You can reset yourself the the maintenance indictor: To reset the yellow wrench (maintenance indicator) on a Harley-Davidson RH1250S Sportster S, you need to access the bike's onboard computer menu, navigate to the service settings, and select the "reset" option; this is typically done by holding down the "menu" button on the instrument cluster while the bike is turned on, allowing you to scroll through the options and clear the service reminder. Key steps: Turn on the bike: Start the engine and let the display come up on the instrument cluster. Access the menu: Locate the "menu" button on the instrument cluster and press and hold it to enter the service menu. Navigate to service settings: Use the navigation buttons to scroll through the menu until you reach the "service" or "maintenance" option. Select "reset": Once in the service settings, choose the "reset" option to clear the maintenance reminder. Important points to remember: Consult your owner's manual: Always refer to your specific motorcycle's owner's manual for the exact instructions on how to access and reset the maintenance indicator.

When 24s came out, RGs sold like hot cakes. Thousands above MSRP, people still bought them. Fast fwd to December of 24, dealers were dumping 24s making room for 25s I owned a SG. Traded it for a sharkskin blue RG for $22k The clear difference was the fixed fairing. I work 44mi each way and cruise around 85mph daily on Tollways. On my SG, cross winds were sketchy. I don't get that anymore on my RG I do, however, dislike how much further the dash is on my RG That said, you see RGs everywhere now!! But I do miss that SG some days!!

Hey guys, great build. How did you mount the display to the bars? Is there a part available to buy to enable this?

Ditto!! I’m curious if the Sportster S tank, rear subframe and seat are all bolt on.

TDMC Master Tech Jacopo customized the fabrication of the mount to make it fit here in the machine shop. Unfortunately, it’s not a part that can be purchased. Sorry.

How many mm is the opening on the backing plate on the Extreme Wedge? The HD description says this is designed for 68mm. I've seen install videos of people installing this on stock throttlebodies, which I beleive is 55mm, so why was there no step/shoulder where the supposedly 68mm on the backing plate meets the 55mm or 64mm throttlebodies? It looked like the diameters where the same where the 2x diameters meet

Have they improved the reliability? I haven't heard much for the 24s, which gives me hope. But 21s and 22s i can find with under 2000kms for 14,000 bucks to to maybe 17,000 when a new one is 27,000 msrp in Canada. That's HORRIBLE depreciation.

Nobody gonna touch on the power potential of the gen2 M8? The new head design is amazing. Oval intake ports. Stock springs will take a .520 lift cam. Even just the EPA compliant SE511 cam and very limited SE tuner will be at 115hp/130tq or more. I’ve seen 170 on both sides with the new 135. Crank has been lightened and all of em coming out with 3.5thou MAX from the factory. Gen1 M8.. u get 0.003 runout at the pinion shaft .. u got a good one! Amazing vid tho. So well done New subscriber here

Should have called it the street bob classic and not a standard. The street bob only has a 114 for the past 4 years. Love the chrome but "Softail standard" sounds kinda goofy

Or street bob original. Standard is too bare bone. 107 vs 114 and many more cool shit for an extra $1200 is a no brainer.

Beautiful bike, I bought mine back in September, 2024 Harley Nightster S, Two things I don't like 1, it sounds like a leaf blower 🤣, and 2, I'm not a big fan of the fuel tank placement its weird having it under the seat. But other than those, I love the bike.

Hello, I have a 2022 Harley Davidson XL883N and in my owners manual it says the tank is 3.3 gallons 12.5 liters. I have this 4oz Ethanol Guard but how much of this should I put in my 3.3 gallon tank. How many ounces treats 3.3 gallons.

The standard was made by Harley to give an excuse to increase the price of the Streetbob. Coward marketing strategy from Harley.

I have the older street glide and took both 2023 cvo vvt out for a test ride at our dealership and they both had a lot of power, the bars felt way better on the RG than the SG but I did not like the seat at all. Memory foam is just too firm for me. The RG felt like it was blocking my view of the road in front of me than the SG. The new controls on the bars were a little too bulky for my small hands and will take some time to get use to.

@This_Guy13 ай бұрын
@TrevDeeleyMotorcycles yup. I've never had a bike roll forward while on the kickstand... Kickstand was down, I got off the bike and walked over to my shop to open the door. After getting about 20ft away, I heard a crash. Watched the camera footage, and it literally crept forward and then collapsed the kickstand. One cool thing I did find out was when it "crashed" it auto shut off and turned the hazzard lights on as well as honked the horn a few times and flashed the high beams a few times. So if you do crash at night it was nice to see that the bike would hopefully attempt to draw attention.
