I think that she is just a good person who cares more not to injure anubody unintentionally, and that contributes not being 100% focused on the game.If she is not careful enough a collision with another player is a huge problem compared to loosing a match.

SC has the most talent inside and plays better team defense, so LSU won't beat a team with that overwhelming talent. So things like these things happen every day. People are making too big a deal out of something that is really nothing.

@politicallil7060Күн бұрын
The organization needed a placeholder because no one would take the job, so they duped her into taking it under false pretenses of a rebuild but had the playoffs as a hold card. It's always an internal power struggle with that raggedy organization. The President of operations hired Spoon, and then the owner, obviously the owner, hired his buddy for the GM, and so there it is. They are not going to do anything. Jeff is the boy of the owner, so he is locked in, and that's it. Dana and the players who fit Wade's system should have just been traded, but there was no plan to keep TSpoon. Dana and Izzy had awful seasons, regardless, and they certainly didn't fit an inside/outside game. And for the record, no one likes anything black too much; it frightens people. However, I agree that a strong black woman to a weak white man is a nightmare threat. White men prefer things they can dominate and control. It's bad enough his boss is a black woman, a black coach, and he is sandwiched. Owners with plantation mentalities always see the boogie man in the room. As long as they keep this ownership, they will always be pricks who think players are cattle and should be handled as chattel, and that is the mindset of this owner, IMO.

What makes people say LSU is figuring it out still? Over half the season is gone. Teams are what they are and roles have been defined. At this point, the only thing that is unknown is, who can be that consistent spark behind the big 3. Teams across CBB are figuring it out even in the Championship game. These teams can actually neutralize each other on the talent. I wouldn't be surprised if each played 7-8 players. If LSU can jump out to an early lead, SC is not built to come back as they were last season. Without KC in the post, that helps LSU a lot. LSU has a superior offense and SC defense. It's gonna be a dog fight with LSU coming away with the win. Both of these teams are different from last year and Mulkey has beaten Dawn every matchup while at BU and at LSU has produced some of closest margins of defeat by a non winning team, all the while having significantly lesser talent.

Depends on which SC team shows up…the SC team versus Oklahoma buries LSU before halftime. The SC team versus Alabama gets beat by LSU’s guard play. The SC team with 22 turnovers and only scoring 67 pts against Texas gets obliterated by LSU’s pts off turnovers. SC likes to play fast but so does LSU especially with the small lineup in. I think where SC wins is post play.
@deekwilliams3255Күн бұрын
What about the multiple LSU teams that have underperformed against what the pundits would call inferior teams?
@deekwilliams3255Күн бұрын
Texas couldn't beat them with 22 turnovers and texas defense, statistically is better. Even with 22 turnovers. Lsu would not beat bear them. LSU has underperformed in TOO many games. Conference and non conference
@christopher3381Күн бұрын
Underperformed how?! LSUs saving grace in the post is an 6’1 undersized forward in Morrow. They’ve been winning with guards against teams with much more height and length! SC should’ve blown out Bama who was missing a huge offensive piece in Barker (underperformance)…but SC still got the win. Tennessee and Vanderbilt both have the height advantage. SC will have a height advantage unless Smith, Jersey, or Del Rosario magically come to life. Consistently winning in the SEC without a solid big is next to impossible. But the Tigers find ways to beat you even if it’s a last second shot.
@christopher3381Күн бұрын
All I’m saying is SC has to put LSU away early and by a huge margin. You let the tigers hang around and those guards get hot, SC will take an L because lsu is outstanding at closing games out

South Carolina Gamecocks bench will be the difference in this game.
@keithanderson71412 күн бұрын
SC bench is averaging 43 points per game and just dropped 53 on OKLAHOMA. I think this goes unnoticed. LSU plays there big 3 35-37 minutes and they will have to deal with chasing around shooters and banging fresh legs plus match the energy level at CLA. I think SC by 15 it’s over half way thru the 3rd quarter. What are your comments about the bench play and the minutes played by the lsu starters? Remember Poa and Rosario haven’t played major minutes in 2-3 sec games. Great show. 😊
@michaelpinell1861Күн бұрын
@keithanderson7141 you're making stuff up and assuming. It's ok to be a fan, but don't make stuff up just because. If you think Kim won't throw a zone at SC to get them out of sorts, you don't watch LSU. Kim doesn't like Zone, but will do it. As for Poa, Kim adjusts her PG according to who is being played. Day-Wilson offers quickness and Poa has size. So, to think either is favored because one is terrible means you know nothing about LSU and Kim's philosophy. No one cares about minutes played and what it can cause. Last season that was a question & after watching 2 competitive games why think different? To me, you're looking for options because the home team is scaring you.

#1 reason - racism.
@bertjones30103 күн бұрын
Well, that's rather simplistic. Let's reframe it after it plays out. Or, would you say you'd draft Miles first and if so why? I think people are too willing to make it about race. But as much as I'm really really over the Clark hype (and yeah, I think there is a lot of fan bs racism, but you can't really complain about Clark's play). I don't think you'll get that if Paige is chosen 1st. I've watched play since she was a senior in HS and she is one of the most highly IQ'd players I've seen. While that doesn't make her the "best" player out there, her intangibles can't be denied. But in the end it doesn't matter. It will come down to who's the supporting cast for both Miles or Paige. Time will tell. And really they aren't exactly clones of each other in play style. Personally I'd just as soon Miles go first. Mostly cause it's Dallas and I have no love for anything Texas.

Realizing stats can be deceiving because of minutes played, level of competition, special defenses to strangle the player's abilities to score and the quality of teammates on the court, it comes down to who can be a leader on the court, who can play defense with intensity and who can make their teammates better? Continuing, who can make baskets from anywhere on the court and who will always care about 'team' first? No question, Paige Bueckers. Threat of injuries? Of course, but that applies to all players. But Paige knows how to 'navigate ' her way through a game. Her most recent 'mild' injury is because a player rolled over her while she was trying to get a loose ball, a freak circumstance. And, you spoke about her 'robotic' way of speaking, as if she was involved in a corporate conversation. Most people don't see that at all. She speaks the truth and she is very passionate and fans identify with her and not only do they admire her as a player but they literally love her as a person, SOMEONE YOU WOULD WANT IN YOUR FOXHOLE if you know what I mean. I'll take Paige. Some of these pure shooters will be in for a shock when they enter the WNBA. It won't be easy for them. Paige? Mentally, she's been playing in the WNBA since she was in grammar school and cannot wait for her opportunity to play amongst the best in the world.

As a GM, I’d take “blonde and beautiful” (-B2S) over “dorky goggles” (-me), and Bueckers overall seems a more versatile and effective player than Miles. But this video doesn’t prove much. Is Bueckers’ turnover rate lower because she mostly makes safe, harmless passes? Is her usage rate higher because she plays alongside less talented players than “Guard U” (Notre Dame)? Is her shooting efficiency higher because she plays in a less competitive conference, takes safe shots and passes the others round the horn, rather than finding a teammate in a dangerous position, as we see so often from Miles?
@micdewitt3 күн бұрын
yeah assist rate was missing on that one. Paige - 24, 24, 27, and 27% Miles - 32, 40, 40, 33%. This season their ast/TO ratio is about the same, Paige 2.86 and Liv 2.98 so for me the biggest separator is I trust Paige's shooting more and I want that star power if I'm Dallas.
