Hi, I have this product. When I'm done using it do I have to empty the water from the tank or leave it sitting in the tank till next week's use? Will it damage the resin?

This is great but how long does it last? How do you regenerate the tank?
@NYAJoeJr2 жыл бұрын
It all depends how much you use it. I’ve had it a few years but don’t use it every weekend and I think it’s time to replace the resin. The resin is about $95 and it comes in a bag that you pour in the tank.

Just a tip. To prolong the life of your DI tanks make sure you pre filter the water as chlorine is the number one killer of the DI resin. Filtering 99% of chlorine out of the water and other impurities like metals and other minerals will highly prolong the life of any DI filtering system.

I purchased one but the seal was broken where the 2 bypasses connect. They’re sending me another one. I wonder can you use this with a on demand pump connected? Or will it be to much gpm for the tank?

@@cal88usa it’s definitely worth it and is the best system out of all the ones I spent weeks researching. Being able to bypass the tank with included valve makes it the simplest and cleanest look without having to buy a bunch of other PVC to build your own bypass. No brainer here.

Appreciate the video and the replies. When you are by passing the DI filter for pre-rinse, and initial rinse after contact wash, what sort of bypass are you using? I dont know if you ran into the same problem i did but first time i hook up the deionizer to my active pressure, a decent amount of resin started to clog the hose inlet, i thought it was the pressure washer not working or something but it was the resin, hopefully i find a solution to it
