wish my 16ibs Dive Rite pocket looked like that,my slider on the weight pocket is so short,it's over the belt loops making this impossible,

So diver with a problem can't just grab the safe second, but has to have it handed to him/her or perhaps tug it from the other diver's mouth if panicking? Hmmm...

U do realize that most destreessed divers grab the reg from your mouth correct? He Jus made that a bit more pleasing by saying handed over...

Let’s be realistic here. An OOA diver is going to be grabbing the regulator out of your mouth. It’s nice a pretty teaching buddy breathing and “handing over” an Octo during training, but training is prepared. True panic comes from unexpected events such as running out of air. Most people in general fall into survival mode during panic. When they rip your regulator out of your mouth, it’s nice to have the other hanging right below your neck. This is a pretty common configuration for anyone diving in overhead environments anyways. The age old recreational configuration just doesn’t apply to advanced diving when a setup like those in the video would be used.

Can you use this strobe with a combination of a dive video light?

since the strobe is much more powerful, it will likely nullify the video light as if it wasnt there.

Denis Paradis it depends on which kind of undergarment you choose right? Diving with twin steel tanks also makes it much easier… technically, if i dive with 400 undergarment I need more than 30lbs weight in total

Xavier L hahaha if you have steel thank you need an aluminium back plate. No weight!

@@denisparadiss i have steel backplate, not enough my friend. Here is a calculator, I'm 190 lbs with steel 80, need 30 lbs weight total, backplate less than 7 lbs

Dive Rite changed the webbing configuration on the back of these pockets....they can no longer be secured in place with a metal belt slide when mounted in the vertical position as shown in the video.
