They changed the tutorial missions a while back. Only new characters can run these missions and only during the tutorial.

I managed to buy a Phoenix at IAE and its a proper tart of a ship, done up to the nines and drop dead gorgeous. I never fancied the Emerald, always looked gordy and meh in screenshots, yet in the flesh, the green takes on a more elegant and stylish skin, very nice indeed. The Nice plus with the Phoenix is it has the Snub/racer + the lovely Lynx, agreat package, and with the best ''seated window/glass views'' of any ship, the 890j doesnt come close. The Phoenix is the perfect ship for exploration, and lets you in luxurious comfort, relax on a planetary vista, taking in the star filled night sky. That Emerald is a keeper, looks like i might treat myself........again.

"this is a message of peace and cooperation" meanwhile if you take even 2 seconds to look around most automaton outposts you see bodies proped up on stakes, mass graves, dumpsters full of both SEAF and civilian bodies, and so on..... its almost like much like everything else in helldivers the automatons are satire on "peaceful socialist regimes" who have committed the worst atrocities in history...
