Why does he say "Thank god you found us"? Is the implication that he's broadcasting from an underground bunker, in some weird kind of post-apocalyptic scenario?
@jesusalvarado425113 күн бұрын
The implication is a person browsing through the various radio frequencies and finally landing on that particular one

I once did a road trip from Washington D.C to Chicago and played this song when approaching Chicago. It was late and the city lights were beautiful coming in from the I90 and then Lakeshore Drive. It was a profound moment that will live with me forever. The power of music is incredible.

Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, I always dreamt of living and thriving in this amazing city. After graduating from college I managed to make that dream a reality and this show does such an amazing job at reminding me why I fell in love with Chicago in the first place. It is so refreshing to have a show that makes Chicago look authentic after having to listen to the endless "Chicago is dangerous, I would never live there" type of comments my whole life.

This is the moment in a good show where you are totally taken off guard by something that comes out of nowhere. This show was already great prior to this episode, then you see this intro and you're floored. On top of that, episode 7 is amazing as well. Just amazing on top of good.

A lot of shows/movies have tried to capture Chicago, but The Bear is the only one that does it perfectly. I feel like I’ve met all the characters.

I went to this restaurant in my neighbourhood which reminds me a lot of the one in 'The Bear', it was my second time there and this time, 'Chicago' played and I told my girlfriend: "Wow, I haven't heard this song in a while...!" The same day, we watched on our show at episode 7, and boom, the show started with the very same song... 🤯✨

They went for 75 minutes but they had to condense them to under 10 minutes by taking out unnecessary and repetitive content because the old TVs couldn’t hold anything over 10 minutes. The mondo Houser shows are very short always less than 10 minutes because of the primitive mondo TVs they had back then. The old old old TVs could not hold more than 10 minutes of show as they used CRT Catholic Ray Tubs technology and non Dylan Mulvaney CLT or Claw Technology. No harm no fowl. They tried Dylan Mulvaney to shorten the shows advertising and tried to produce a non racist TV set with Motorola involvement with flypaper control and Dylan Mulvaney CEO.
