I miss these creators so much. Still think they struck a hard nerve and got scared off but maybe it really was just burnout from the process. Such a hard stop.

It's possible 20th century communism failed in part due to the technological limitations of the time. Imagine trying to figure out a five-year economic plan by working on impossibly complex problems in ledger books by hand. Now imagine creating your projections with computers, software algorithms and AI. The tools are far more sophisticated now. It may be possible to have planned economies now, or perhaps some hybrid of planned and free economies.
