Whipple had miss clocked the rotors in the supercharger. Sent it back to be corrected. After corrected it's been great. Whipple customer service was really good. Almost 7k miles on it since then.

Bought the truck directly from the factory . Got it delivered to Sames ford in bastrop . Bought the supercharger at the dealership, had it installed at lief Johnson Ford. I think they actually subbed the work to another shop. All factory warranty still.

Absolutely beauty of a machine ! Thanks for showing how far in the wheels are with the covers off. What are the front covers made from, and how are they attached ? Also, in the future could you please post a video showing how far the wheels are able to turn. You must get that question ALL the time ! ( I saw your comment on the rubbing tire - was it the front, or rear one ? ) Car sounds incredible. Two more questions : So I notice you added a back window to the car. Did you pick up any speed with that change ? And finally, are you back home now, or still in Austin ?

Glad to see Whipple standing behind their name and product. I’ll be adding my Ford Performance 3.0 stage 2 Whipple on my 2023 Rocky Ridge 5.0 V8 soon! So far I’ve done 2 mods. A UPR oil catch can and a UPR bullet 1 way breather kit. They go hand in hand because by just adding the oil catch can without a breather will restrict crankcase airflow. I could’ve just went with the oil catch can that has the breather but I wanted to do them separately and have my crankcase pressure relieved from my oil cap.

That being a cab forward you have to be careful that the rear of the truck does not run short and drop off in the ditch It requires a wide swing. Drove a few of those in my days on a fire department.

@leskeegan903322 күн бұрын
@@jameslashley3970 Actually there is two Cab forward and cab over. This one is a cab forward where more of the cab is forward of the front wheels. Ford C-8000 cabs were an example of a cab over design. Most of the custom chassis that modern fire apparatus are built on are of a cab forward design.

A good ignition system and exhaust goes a long way. If you don't mind modifications from original it can be done. The quick reving is giving it more spark advance at lower rpms. I used to lock out all my distributors and use a start retard box to start it. It would make it snappy to Rev quickly. This one has individual coils allowing timing adjustments for each cylinder.
