Good morning Mary, I just watched your video & want to tell you about our terrifying incident with balloons. I used to go all out with decorating for June's birthday. I had balloons & ribbons all over the house. Our ragdoll, "Bijin" loved to pop them like Loki does. Unbeknownst to me, he swallowed a piece of one when I wasn't watching him. We had to take him to our vet as he became sick & wouldn't eat. Well, the vet gave him something to hopefully pass the balloon. If not, it would have been a costly surgery. Ribbon is bad too as if a piece is swallowed it can wind around the intestines & kill him as blood circulation would be cut off. I am giving you this news about our "baby Bijin" so the same thing doesn't happen to darling Loki. It can happen so fast that they swallow a piece of balloon or ribbon. Same with tinsel. "Bijin's" Pet Insurance after that incident for 1 whole year cancelled his coverage for ingesting foreign objects. No more balloons in this house after that!. Just a word to the wise. We were fortunate that the piece of balloon got passed out of his body..... Lee
