Hello. Just started feeding in Provo. By the Provo central but we have a nice sized back yard and tall trees. I put out backyard seeds. Oily sunflower seed etc. Same suet for a month . I play 15 min of calls in the and 15 at dusk. No feathered friends. Ideas Please? Ty..

Both turn up transitory, tho. The occasional Steller's has become resident. Whereas western Alaska seems to be in the normal, but non breeding range of a smallish number of white.tailed eagles. There are some epic pictures from Alaskan islands of all three Haliaeetus species perched in the same tree.

The Asian dove is such a problem here in western Colorado, we have a hunting season for them. Being larger than mourning doves, they are causing problems for a variety of birds, including mourning doves.🤔

Colorado please remove all Pigeon spikes. That's brutal what they have to go through to get inside their homes.

I get birds that look somewhat like the Spotted Towhee except the tops of the wings are dark brown and have a lighter checkered band, the orange feathers come up to the chin and there is a dual stripe on the head looking a bit like skunk striping. Is this a variety of Towhee?

What a crock. there are no Baya Weavers is the US, and a few of the others aren't native to Washington. Oh, and your crow pic is of a Common Raven. At least you got our state bird in there (#15).

I wouldn't call these common species. Maybe uncommon or rare, but I'd call common species stuff like american robin, kilideer (in wetlands) black-capped chickadee, dark-eyed junco, canada goose, mallards, and tree swallows

Turkey vulture is much more common than a condor. Condors at one time were considered vulnerable since there numbers dropped. Where I live seagulls and brown pelican you can see often by the beach.
