OK, I found some sticks out in the yard, and someone named Toby, but don't think he was keen on watching me play, as he told me to leave him alone and quickly walked off.

You actually don't need to set up a zoom button with Tobii. With mine if I lean forward, it will zoom in to the area I am looking. Not sure if this is something I unknowingly set up or if it does this "out of the box". The only down side is if you use an ultrawide monitor, I run a 57" samsung curved monitor, the tracking becomes less accurate as you get closer to the edges of the screen.

Great review! I've had mine for some time now but really haven't delved into it's capabilities as much as I should. A word of caution: Don't start the Tobii app with your computer, only start it up when you're going to be using it. The infra-red emitters have a finite lifespan and if you have the Tobii on full-time they can burn out much sooner.

Tobii is one of the best things I have bought for my gaming experience. It's simple to configure, simple to use, it's awesome. I use it on a Samsung 43 inch Qled TV, play in the dark, wearing glasses, and I have absolutely no issues with it. It's a truly game changer. Once you fly with it, you can't look back.

I currently use my IPhone for both head and eye tracking and it works fairly well. Can also be used in the dark with no light. Wouldn’t mind trying other hardware, but for now, this does the job really well

I wish you had posted this with the discount link last week, before I bought mine for full price. 🤣 I'm really enjoying it so far - the default settings are actually a really good starting point, and I've been slowly adjusting settings. I also have to kinda retrain myself a little bit, since looking off to the side at another monitor, etc., causes the screen image to whip around and I need to not panic when I see that sudden extreme motion out of the corner of my eye. lol It really is a great product, though - I'm not regretting the purchase, even if your timing sucked and I ended up paying full price. 😆👍

Yeah way cool device but I play on a 65" TV so I'm too far from the tracker sensor.

Fun note: you can use this thing to “map” your face and put yourself into the game with the character creator. :-)

Can you recommend A video that helps you with all the basic settings for Star Citizen? The videos I found are to old. Mine stopped working and I know I am missing something in the settings.

I've no experience with head or eye tracking. How much does head movement have to be used? I don't want to have to look sideways, taking my eyes off the monitor, just to follow a target's flight.

I wish I could use Tobii, but it makes me so nauseous that the only adjustment that helped was off. But it was so cool. I tried again a few months later but same.

100% this is the best tool you will use in Star Citizen. I really miss being able to move my 3rd person camera with it. (Unless i'm doing something wrong since 3.24)
