Thank you for having the courage and forethought to bring this up and articulate not only the memories surrounding these events but how the enemy taunts us to stay oppressed. Blessed be God that he plucked you out of the mire of the abuse and lay your feet upon the solid ground of his love for you. You are his son, beloved and healed.

I strongly disagree with this version of why it was NOT good that "the" man would be alone. Or that "that" man Adam should be alone. Reason being, because Several of ELOHIMS Most Powerful Prophets didn't have spouses and there were several men and kings who had spouses like Ahab and Hosea, whose wives were a snare to them. And notwithstanding what THE HOLY SPIRIT SPEAKG THRU Paul said IN 1 COR 7:24-40. We also see, THROUGHOUT SCRIPTURE, Especially PROVERBS, the devastations of choosing the wrong help meet. As a matter of fact, it was through Adams same help meet, that brought GODS CURSE UPON ALL of us: But This Was Also THE MEANS BY THE WHICH we WERE GIVEN our GREATEST GIFT, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST; our GOD HAS COME TO SAVE us FROM our sins. It wasn't good for "him" to be alone because THEY ORDAINED THAT the woman would help him procreate. Procreation is the means by the which, THEY CHOSE TO INTRODUCE THE 2ND PART OF THEIR TRINITY. THE SON. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. YESHUA HAMASHIACH. See. This isn't about us. Nor for us. COL 1:16 Bcz BY HIM WERE ALL HIS Things CREATED, that HE HAS PLACED IN HIS Heaven, And That HE HAS PLACED IN HIS 🌎, Visible AND Invisible, Whether they be HIS Thrones, OR HIS Dominions, OR HIS Principalities, OR HIS Powers: ALL HIS Things WERE CREATED BY HIM, AND FOR HIM: COL 1:17 AND HE IS BEFORE ALL HIS Things, AND BCZ OF HIM ALL HIS Things CONSIST. Then again... IS 45:6 That they may know from the TIME I RISE MY Sun, And From MY West, that there is NONE beside ME. I AM THE LORD, AND there is NONE else. IS 45:7 I FORM MY Light, AND I CREATE MY Darkness: I MAKE MY Peace, AND I CREATE MY Evil: I THE LORD DO ALL These Things. This should be titled, "helper for THE SON OF Man".

I can relate. The thing of sexual abuse at a young age is your boundaries were also violated therefore you are unable to set boundaries. I learned this through counseling. Unlike you, I tried to speak out but was chastised and told this abuser was nothing but a saint. There were others in the family that he tried to abuse but living with him, it was unavoidable, and I was an orphan and they were my guardians. I had such a profound experience with the Rescue Project whereas the Holy Spirit became real, like actually a real person of the Trinity. It has truly changed my life. I also work for the church and by all means I should hate the church because the abuser was a deacon and family member, but I love the church. Because of my experience, I tend to be a watch dog for abuse, I can’t help it but as you probably experienced, we have a tendency to trust no one. God bless you Fr. Riccardo, you have been a blessing to me.

Happened to me even though I followed God with daily mass. Great business w/my 53yo brother partner, he died out of the blu one day. Brought me even closer to God, thought that was it. Father died 30days later, brought me even closer to our Lord. Its so beautiful if you accept the suffering, am I good at it? No. But I know God is holding me up. I love our Lord, please help me grow that strength. Amen

Respectfully, Why are annulment permitted?
@lukeventers47552 жыл бұрын
Because some marriages are not valid. The authority has been left to the Church, by God, to make these determination(s.)
@lukeventers47552 жыл бұрын
That's what a decree of nullity (annulment) is/means. That the marriage is null and (therefore) void.
@sandyjeannette46172 жыл бұрын
You are giving the definition of annulment. Why does the church permit them? Marriage is a Covenant made before God.
@lukeventers47552 жыл бұрын
@@sandyjeannette4617 And yet not all marriages are VALID. There are specific requirements: one must enter into it willingly, with an "openness" to children.
@RestoreJustice6752 жыл бұрын
The authority to grant annulments is given to the church when Jesus said to Peter, "I give you the keys to the Kingdom, whatsoever you Bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven". ....In other words Jesus gave The Church through Peter the authority to establish doctrinal teachings for His body the church. Thus effectively saying to Peter if you establish it as church teaching down here on earth, I will ratify it in heaven or approve it in heaven . As a twice divorced Catholic who now lives as if he is still married to my second wife, I do understand the internal conflict that surrounds the question of divorce and annulment. But only in a deeper reading of scripture, a deeper education of church teaching on the matter, and a deeper search for truth can people come to terms with how they are to live after divorce . God does not stop loving a person who gets divorced. It doesn't mean he approves their going forward with a second or third marriage either. But this is why obedience to God's commands and the institution He had built on Peter, (the Church) is so important. God calls us all to Holiness. No matter what our marital state or divorced state in life is. But too there are more evils in the world other than Divorce and adultery. We are all called to repent and be converted. All of us, happily married or thrice divorced. God truly wants us to become new creations in Christ Jesus. He wants us to focus on what pleases Him by obedience to the Guidelines He sets forth. But too as Jesus said on the Cross "Forgive them Father they know not what they do"....We still don't know what we do. God "Desires mercy not sacrifice, knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings"....God hates divorce. One person is usually gravely wounded while the other goes on as if nothing happened. This is a great injustice not only to the offended party but to children of that union. Yet God calls us all to be at peace with others. Most marriages I don't believe that anyone or few actually consider God's will for their union. Most I believe get married based upon feelings or lusts rather than consideration of God's will. But in short, "God gave the authority to His church to teach what the churches people should do". No it's not God's perfect will. But God is bigger than any problem we face. He can Make straight the paths that we make crooked. It is very self evident that the world is way out of line with God's original intent for mankind. Yet God knew all this at the foundation of the world, and He loved us anyway. In spite of our sinful selves. Not all will make it to heaven. But as individuals we need to do our best to get right with God each and every day. Judgment is up to God.

This talk sums up so much about how we, the child sexual abused. I thought I was the only one who felt all these things, I never equated them to the abuse before. I am 60 and just starting to see how the abuse affected my personality, how I have allowed it permeate every part of my life. If you were abused as a child, I can only encourage you to seek help sooner rather than later, don't allow Satan to use it to direct you. Peace be with you and quiet you gently in mind and heart.
