I like the Degree wheel years ago when I was doing roll bars/ cages I used different methods, having the eye to see how you want it to go or problems before you get to deep . Nice work I seen you put a cage in Billy’s Mustang , I don’t know why he doesn’t put a 9 in. Rear in now he knows a Fabricator to shorten rear ends . Keep it going

Nice. You said you aren’t good at talking. That’s not true. People on KZbin don’t always want perfection. But they do usually want honest. And you just told a good honest story to KZbin. I enjoyed it. Awesome.

Hang on to what you got brother one day you will look back and laugh at the little things that are stressing and bugging you now... I've been a fabricator since I was 13 and grew up in a structural steel and handrail shop and now I run that same shop... everything comes with time

New subscriber here, I am a welder/fabricator! I work for myself building truck accessories and I know the feeling of adapting when working alone! I got a good chuckle out of you using the straps from the rafter since I do the same for my upper headache rack tubes! I position the bed in the shop based off of rafter location!

This is probably the best video explaining how to bend tube the old school way I've ever seen. I've been doing my own chassis work for years the redneck way without bendtech and even I learned something new today. Keep up the good work dude, you will do well with this.
@lanemotorsportsfabrication4 күн бұрын
Thank you there’s not much information out there that doesn’t involve high end equipment or technology
@chrisbrosco71424 күн бұрын
@lanemotorsportsfabrication Exactly. Not everyone that wants to build a cage or chassis has access to bend tech or a CNC bender and notcher. Having this info available on video and spelled out in terms we can all understand is priceless in my opinion.

Keep your focus on God and listen to His directives and you will never go wrong! God, family, and job in that order, and you will succeed! Take any and all problems to prayer first, not later, and stay humble.

Brother, you can take this advice for what it’s worth 2019 I quit being a car mechanic for 35 years I loved fixing cars every single person I worked for was interested in one thing how much money I was going to make him and that’s how each and every morning started I got stuck in a rut for 16 years at one shop and got abused for a long time but I had a family to take care of I want to open my own shop at living in Long Island it’s just too expensive the overhead would kill me . i’ve been in and out of trucks. My whole life had a huge fight with my last boss. It was a mutual agreement it was time to go. That’s why they put toolboxes on wheels. I was 49 years old And add across roads in my life. Took some time off went to the unemployment office Sara sign on the wall to get your CDL I asked the person there how do I go about that it took about two months but they approved me for a government grant and I went to school and got my license my life changed drastically from that point on. I was able to afford things that I used to leave on the shelf. Anyone that’s live paycheck to paycheck understands what I’m saying I put myself on a five-year deadline with trucking. I was in a truck full-time at the age of 50 working for Warner. It’s been five years and I’m a new owner of a 2018 freightliner. i’d be lying to you if I told you I was a scared I got the truck in June and I got my chin above water. I’m not sure how I made it this far. I’ve had help from some very good people. This is been a dream of mine since I’ve been a little kid never saw it happening, and it came out of nowhere. I threw caution to the wind. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I’m hoping 2025 is my best year. I still love working on cars in fact I have an old Camaro for the last 30 years Dow Jones put together that I may talk to you about need some new floor pans and a new roll cage it’s got an eight point narrow ready my point is you’re still young it’s extremely hard being your own boss. The numbers to me are overwhelming but it’s amazing what we can do when we’re pushed in the corner, so good luck on your journey and don’t give up. I’m hoping for the both of us to make it big. 🙏 Merry Christmas and happy new year

Best thing you could do is stay small and have a handful of clients. I’ve seen to many people bite off more than they can choose and ended up bankrupt,lied too,stolen from etc. Up front and honest and loyalty is far and few in between these days! Good Luck!

@ another piece of advice is that if you do grow bigger have a CPA that you know in fact that you can trust with your last penny!!! Had a good friend in the HVAC business that got took for a bit of money because she was cooking the books! Hope the best for you and your family.

nothing wrong with 'self taught'. My union machinist dad picked a 110v a/c stick thing out of the trash when I was 15-now I'm 45 pulling 6 at the 9-5 as a welder,did a few years as a heavy truck wrench too. Got a nice setup at home,my boss doesn't even have a pipepro400.This is America,and guys like us made it what it is!
