Get the Epic pass. Bring your lunch. Bring your own beer. Park for free. Sleep in your van. Buy gas before you get to Vail. Get the heck out with your wallet still in your pocket. That's how you ski / board in disgusting fake ski village status symbol towns like Vail.

I live down in GJ and so many stay here to drive up to Vail or the smaller Powder Horn Resort. Overrated and overpriced.

Yo thanks for watching Wadie. This was the only open run while I was there, some wet snow was coming down at the top but they definitely needed more snow and colder temps to set up the rest of the hill. Pamporovo was a little better, you might want to keep an eye on both places.

Probably too late, but anyway. Snow conditions are not good. We spent New Year in Bansko. Not a lot of snow, and icy conditions. Crowds turned the slopes to moguls in the afternoon. Only a few red runs open, so very crowded on the blues. Locals say the best time to go is after 10 March. Plenty of fresh snow, and no crowds.

@@wadiebadra8039 It will be a lot better! Bansko is a bit funny that way. Snow is usually best in March. Also have a look at European school holidays and bank holidays. Crowds can get very big in February, creating very long waits at the main gondola. There are shuttle buses up the mountain though, which are sometimes the fastest way to get up.
