Great content..I drover my 2013 Raptor 199K miles...zero issues..until a cop T-boned be at 45 MPH..I am still a Raptor fanatic and now own a 2021..love it...solid!

Congrats on a nice little square body. What was your reason for putting the 2 step button on the shifter base? Not a good location if you plan to use it for racing. Nice build though, & good luck with it!

I don’t plan on drag racing it anytime soon + the 2 step button is only for show. The truck doesn’t have a transbrake currently as I blew up the last transmission that had a transbrake. If I decide to drag race it ever again I am going to move it to the steering wheel like it used to be.

Thought about putting a twin turbo LS in it?? You might get an idea from the street racing channel

I wouldn’t put an LS in this truck because I’d like to keep it a small block set up. But I would like to get another vehicle in the future and do a turbo ls build, maybe a ford fairmont or a gbody 🤔

what size wheels and tires? Offset ? what drop is the springs/blocks?

15x6 in the front/ 205 something tire size, I can’t remember the exact size. 15x8 rears, 275/60r15 with a 4.5 inch offset I believe. I don’t remember exact drop on it but if I had to guess I would say 2 in the front and 3 in the rear drop.

Yes sir, hoping to get that fixed this summer. The truck has a ford nine inch in it so rearend geometry might have gotten a little tweaked when they put it in. No big deal

Yeah I've been racing for quite a few years pro stocks then I went to late models quit for a few years went back 3 years ago to run in Street stocks it'll take you some time especially with the modifieds my buddy say you really got to push them things hard into the corner

Yes I think that’s my biggest thing right now is that because I’m not full throttle it’s not loading the suspension like it should to make the corner. Once I can get comfortable with full throttle I think it will fly around the corners. Thanks for tuning in!

@@user-xm7gx6pw7tit was built in the 90s so not exactly sure. He said it was a full size truck bed cover cut down to fit over the bed and flush mounted. Don’t know what truck or brand it was off of.

Yea we decided to keep it how it is and block off the front of the radiator so it can warm up 👍 our modified has a arts thermostat deal and it’s sweet but it’s pretty expensive. The street stock will be a more budget friendly car lol.

eBay is a good place, Facebook groups for these s10’s can also sell parts for these as well. Just take your time and do it right!

Cheapest would be 4.3 but for the most fun I’d go with an ls, there’s plenty of KZbin videos on showing people to ls swap these s10’s as it’s a super common swap. If you want it to be even simpler do a small block Chevy, would be cheaper and I prefer the small blocks over the ls’s.

Wow that’s in poor condition, it was the most expensive car back in 78 at over $20000 new, and considered tare today, has lots of good parts to sell after it’s stripped down

I have a 78 Mark V and it is a very reliable car, even neglected barn finds seem to start right up
