No for sure i dont think elles character inherently has to be the one to take on trans politics as her central plot as it often is portrayed as the only thing trans characters (especially Black trans characters) are allowed to do. I was genuinely a bit disappointed that no one busted in, in particular tao as he usually gets riled up when he feels a sense of injustice. And the only reason i wonder is elles character moving into the direction of being political is the set up of her social media following growing, and after the incident she doesnt seem satisfied with her painting anymore. Just generally, it seemed very separate (i dont remember if the other characters even knew what had happened) but i generally have a bit of a concern that heartstopper has the platform of the main queer show set in england today but it may not rise to the need for truly challenging views or inspiring action in the way heartbreak high does. And idk. Would have liked some brief acknowledgement elles parents were at least doing something more formally as a minimum. I dont think the action must be entirely on elle, i just personally was a bit disappointed with how it was handled in this season. Even if there was a conversation between elle and her parents where she says ‘no please dont’ to whatever they suggest doing would feel like more closure than we got. And of course theres probably another season coming where it may be expanded on, but i think this season needed a little more as it just feels thrown in for the sake of it?

I think its a good show ! I just think because there is such a lack of on going queer shows of different ages themes genres and topics, people expect everything from Heartstopper which :( is impossible. Hopefully people see and understand that more now netflix cancels every queer or generally diverse show after one or two seasons and starts being pissed at the right people ! Lol bit of a rant there 😂 but i hope you enjoy it when you get round to watching !

@@ArtieCarden When you do get an appointment, maybe take some time to plan your journey to avoid the tube? I used to live in London & it is possible to get everywhere by bus if you don't mind it taking longer

thank you ! yes me too... there were things i liked as well but it was mostly just a weird jumble of mess and trying to recreate plots from past seasons that didnt work being played out again... i also wasnt keen on the otis vs o as sex therapists plot line and how easily otis villianised o... i know a lot of that was also to do with the production re-editing the show to change the asexual plot line... and honestly am devastated they didnt bring jakob back :(

Hey I am still on it yep, atm i cant really comment as im in pretty intense burn out but when im feeling better I will make an update video. but i think my last video on adhd meds, i'd been on it for a while for titration. are there any specific questions you have?

@@ArtieCarden Thanks for the reply. I was just wondering, in general whether the medication helped you with your executive function, i.e., starting and finishing tasks, keeping on top of your habbits?

@@lukas6538 i think stimulants over all have helped me develop more of a routine/habits and helps make remembering/prompting myself easier. I still struggle with completing certain tasks but i think that will be a more permanent thing lol like its much easier for me to complete creative project tasks than day to day things. But they have helped me be able to start tasks and do most of the task for home related duties but i just still struggle with the final step like putting the clean laundry away, putting clean dishes away… that sort of thing. This will be where my PA will help a lot. I find without meds thinking is like sludge and its so much hard putting the pieces together or breaking down a task. So whilst i still have some struggles, they do help enough that i dont see myself coming off them. The meds im on now also suit me better combined with propranolol coz my heart rate was crazy but i have a type of dysautonomia which is likely the why of the high heart rate

omg ikr i mean my mum is 52 this year and isnt officially diagnosed with anythin i have going on but IM SURE she's also autistic/adhd and EDS... i think private practice was 4 or 5 seasons, it reminded me a bit of House MD combined with greys anatomy? its not always as SURGICAL as greys and not strictly the same collaborative set up as House MD but a decent middle ground which i did really like. its a shame the show ended tbh, but addison still shows up in greys. I dont even know what season of greys we are on now... 19? the last season we had was only 10 episodes so it felt weirdly short. i dont think any of them REALLY beat New Amsterdam which felt like a more socialist greys anatomy lol

@@ArtieCarden Now I want to check out New Amsterdam as well!! I really liked Addison - I thought the writers were quite mean to her character & tried to make her quite bitchy at the start

@@laura.bseyoga GOD ITS SO ANNOYING! I feel like at least pills if they dont have like as an example you meed 56 pills, they can give you what they have and give you a slip to come back for the rest. But maybe with ointments they see it more like dose of pills? Like if they dont have 50mg they wont give you 25mg tablets 🤦🏻 its just so unnecessary tbh! Also thank you!! 🥲💕
