Hia, I’m just about to buy these clippers- what blades are you using to hog, the coarse ones? They look fab, are you happy with them? And how many full clips do you think a blade set would get through before needing to be sharpened? Many thanks🙂

I usualy lose the tension full and start tightening until it starts cutting hair and keep tightening as it loses its sharpening and i resharpen the blades and re do the same i usually trim 120 goats sometimes 90 depends on how the goats hair and sizes are with 1 sharpening

I did this and use oil and clippers were cool, and they then turned on, but after shutting off, they turn on (motor running), but the blades do not engage. If I take all apart again and reset the blades, they do run again, but only until shut off, and then not blades not moving (motor runs). What is problem???

Nice film!!! It is better to have the studs on the same side as the screw tap, I think. That way you can use the different "keys" to tighten the studs in a better way. If you have the studs on the outside the will in your way when tightening bigger studs. Try and you will understand what I mean and how we have been thinking when we have developed the Studplate:-) All the best, Pia
