I need an electric perculator with a timer or strength changer basically. I bought a perculator, I think it was the Presto one and it doesnt brew long enough to make good coffee. It just gets to boil and stops brewing. It wont be good unless it brews it for a few minutes or so. I dont know whats wrong with all these perculators but Ive literally only seen like 1 decent one on the market, that has a timer, so I bought that one and love it. WTF though? GOd all these other ones suck, or I dont know what Im doing wrong then.

You make a good point that these percolators could benefit with a timer to select a desired brew cycle. As with most of them it is hit or miss if the cycle is good or not. Several that I've encountered in thrift stores have been turned in likely because the thermostat shuts off the brew cycle way too early resulting in weak coffee. Replacing the thermostat has them working like new again where the water temp is at least around 190F when it shifts from brew to the keep warm cycle. A timer would require someone to estimate the different water amounts they put in the pot. Perhaps most companies don't want the liability involved with dealing with the general public.

@@astrobob135 No, thats not the point, the other ones have really bad mounts and optical components that make them very unusable. As someone whos been doing astrophotography for a while now, i do not recommend these at all.

A couple of them are travel scopes, a couple of them a beginner scopes. But the only computerised scope is the 8se, not sure why they named the short like that and took two weeks, but ok.

Actually Milwaukee makes the best temp gun $95 new but I found mine at a flea market for $20 and it reads 97.8 on me so I know it's accurate
