@@ReadyAquarium I was thinking of doing it on a 23ltr & 46ltr but someone said the top glass is part of the integraty of the tank by removing it it may weaken it but if you’ve had no probs maybe your lucky I want to do it but will resarch a bit more maybe extra silicon may be good thank you ☺️

@@Saxonwomen It could be for larger tanks like you mentioned. What you can do is add a metal rim on the top like 1cm that goes around the tank. Let me know when you do it send a video. THX

How do you make sure you're not squishing any shrimp? Especially the babies. I took one out of a 30 gallon today and 2 berried mama's hitched a ride. I shook the sponge around first, but that didn't help lol. I'm worried when I put it back in that I'll squish shrimp then too 😭

Try to check the sponge before squeezing it, make sure no shrimps are stuck there... Use a small bucket or a plastic bag...

Yep it is hard, you need to transfer them to brackish water which is nearly impossible when they hatch.

The shrimp is dying, detritus worms dont attack shrimp. Worms are oppurtunistic feeders When an animal is injured or dying, the local scavengers attack. If a grasshopper breaks a limb, it will certainly be expected that ants will swarm.

Subbed. Nice looking tank - looking very mature. On the aptasia, consider getting a few nudibranches. Bit pricey, but they really do the job, especially in a tank like yours that won't have too many of their predators. Without the risk to your torch from a peppermint. The aptasia is stinging your corals so you should deal with that. What caused your tank crashes, do you know? Sounds like you have an ATO, do you have a temp controller? Inkbird is a cheap wise investment.
@ReadyAquarium10 ай бұрын
Lack of maintenance and no Auto dose, i left it for a month or so unattended. Oh i didn't know the peppermint can bother the torch, i should go for the nudibranchs, they are hard to find around here.

Hello, may i ask a few questions? I'm asking for a Co2 cylinder regulators. Solenoid valves are generally integrated with co2 regulators. Can i disable or remove the solenoid valve if i decide to use the co2 for 7/24 ? Is there any adjustment on the solenoid vlave for this situation?
@ReadyAquarium Жыл бұрын
Disabling the solenoid valve in a CO2 aquarium system can be done, but it should be done with caution. The solenoid valve is typically used to control the release of carbon dioxide (CO2) into the aquarium to help plants grow. Here's how you can disable it: 1. Turn Off CO2 Flow 2. Disconnect Solenoid 3. Bypass the Solenoid 4. Adjust Regulator 5. Monitor CO2 Levels Keep in mind that maintaining the right CO2 levels without the solenoid can be more challenging, as fluctuations can occur. If you're not experienced with manually adjusting CO2 levels, it's recommended to leave the solenoid in place and connected to a timer or controller to ensure stable CO2 injection. If you decide to disable the solenoid, proceed with caution and monitor your aquarium closely to prevent CO2-related issues.
@hasankalkan3684 Жыл бұрын
@@ReadyAquarium Thank you for the reply. I'm aware of the danger about too much co2. If i disconnect valve, how do i bypass solenoid valve? Just remove the the parts or do i need to add something there ?

I never clean mine, the shrimp clean for me. Usually sponge filter with less spores is best for shrimp as they can clean the outside for you. However, if the sponge filther have a lot of spores, then it might make the inside dirty and the shrimp can't reach the inside then it will get clogged.

Description: An aquarium powerhead is typically used to create flow throughout the tank. For example, a single powerhead could be used at one end of a freshwater aquarium to simulate a laminar river current, or multiple powerheads can be positioned throughout the aquarium to create more turbulent flow.
