Is the evaporator differnt then the heater core?
@boredmder5 жыл бұрын
Think of it as the heater core's equivalent for the air conditioning.

I guess when the plugs are in like that makes it more difficult for a plug to get ejected. That happened to me on a 1977 Celica I alway wondered where the plugs were on my maxima. Thanks

On my son's 200 maxima 3.0 I Followed your instructions as per your video. All worked very well. didn't remove whole motor mount just to half, plus power steering reservoir which gave me enough room. Used serpentine tensioner bolts to walk out pump. When installing timing belt tensioner one bolt slip out of my hands and into timing belt area. I couldn't retrieve it. picked up another bolt from auto parts store. probable at bottom of timing belt cover and out of the way. been driving car for a week. all is well. Thanks again. very helpful video.

fyi this is essentially the same for 3rd gen, it's just that the assembly is on the front side of the rotor rather than the back

Thanks for making this video. This saved me a headache and made this a really easy process.

Great video thank you. I just wanted to add that my heater core needed to be replaced on my 1998 Nissan Maxima. By taking out both heater core tubes and snap that plastic piece between them because I could not reach the screw. I was able to slide the heater core out and replace it with out pulling the dashboard.
@Sennner96 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much for this video. I just wanted to tell you by watching your other video on the heater core heater tubes. I was able to take out the heater core without taking out the dashboard. By taking out both heater core tubes and flipping them around the heater core slides out easily. There is a plastic strap between the heater core tubes. I had to snap it off because I could not get to the one screw. But on installation of the heater core and heater core tubes, it holds in very well. You do have to take out the heater core tubes first. Thank you very much.

Thank u SO much for making this! U made replacing my lift supports super easy! Woohoo! No more being hit in the head by the falling window cuz the supports are dead! Next...replacing the hood supports. I pray those are just as easy lol! Thank u again! Have a great day!!

Same directions. I ordered 2 for $13 on eBay and replaced one on hood and one on trunk ! Worked fine, as they are really stout .

Thank you soooo much for this video. Your other video showing the no crank no start was exactly the problem I was having. Just wish I had saw your video before listening to my mechanic and every other "Car" guy who had an diagnosis on what the issue was....Would have saved me weeks of ordering parts and about 100.00.

That's amazing, I've been watching (and relying on) your other videos and, for this one, I had exactly the same failure on the power motor window of my 1997 Maxima. The rubber disintegrated. Unfortunately, when I removed the window, one of the clip broke and I had to also replace and re-glue the clip. All is good now after putting in a new motor with the help of this video. Thanks for doing all these videos, huge help!

Why does everyone try to explain the most easy and elementary items leaving the difficult exercises out? Im trying to replace the ignition lock, nothing on that?
@boredmder7 жыл бұрын
Because an ignition cylinder replacement isn't very common, and I'm not about to drill mine out just for a video? Drill out the two security bolts, remove lock cylinder, reinstall two bolts. Once you're at the point of being able to replace the ignition switch, it's just a few more steps.
@ramongonzalez23217 жыл бұрын
do you need to replace any transmission fluid, and how much coolant does it take to refill it?
@boredmder7 жыл бұрын
You'll lose less than a quart of trans fluid, and the cooling system calls for a little over two gallons of coolant.

Anything u know of some wiring attached to gauge cluster that can cause charging system problems?
@boredmder7 жыл бұрын
If the battery bulb in the cluster blows, or is removed, the alt won't charge.
