Sorry but dybbuks don't originate from judaism or anyone's current culture because it was actually before any of our times including the holocaust. It is real just the real ones don't get sold at all. They are held within a small group to keep them out of the hands of man because like any person except the smart ones will try an open it. Real things that contain demons beyond your power or a normal priests can be a wooden box. Just like the annabell doll that is in the ed and lauren warrens musem that can hurt the tourist an anyone that belittles or challenges it. The box is infused with holywater, carved crosses, engraved scripture in a inner layer of the box, has a lock of hair for energy (an/or someone is possessed an it needs to be singled out), animal bones for the spirit to be latched onto so its power is also weakened, and a candle or the candle holder that was used to start and end the ritual (which then makes it apart of the boxes disposal since the spirit could also attachto that) (In terms of a dybbuk box being sealed with candle wax... Well that is to keep people from opening it but also from a different candles which have different meanings in the world of spirituality, witch craft or warlock magic, etc. ) Every safety pre-caution necessary to keep it contained. I'm not trying to argue or anything but as a spiritual native american shawman an medium I can safely say your are right. It is not judaism but is also not from any other religion that everyone knows as of today an thats okay because not everyone has tapped into thier enternal selves or connected with their past life. But I can whole heartedly say that they are not fake just the ones "YOU (CONSUMERS) GET TO SEE!" But the less you believe the less power we give to negative energy and Devils ( big difference from a demon which is a lower ranking entity) but back then it wasn't called a dybbuk box.

The big problem for Dawkins, something that he by now must be fully aware of and is having trouble to cope with, is the fact that the simplistic dogma that has made him famous is now being compehensively debunked by sound scientific facts. The post-Darwinist dictum is that spontaneous mutations in DNA create some individuals with superior adaptability who then dominate through selective pressure. This mechanism works beautifully within a given species, but cannot explain speciation. Speciation is a mystery and Dawkins must know this, and yet he keeps pushing his theory because his entire fame is based on it.

I've long since come to the conclusion that many of the way-out there KZbin comments are from people who aren't well mentally. I used to respond to such comments on the science videos, but have learned it's best just to leave them alone -- for their sanity and your own!

Christopher Hitchens, who was a Balliol man, tells a good story of how, when he was on the Balliol team in University Challenge, they (in his own words) " were 'trounced' in the first round by St David's, Lampeter, a theological college from North Wales, for heaven's sake."

Religion is the Death of Logic and Reason. I realized I was an atheist in the 5th grade while standing in line for Catholic confirmation. I wanted to step out of line because I realized at that moment I didn't believe in God or anything in the Bible. Unfortunately, I also knew If I chose that moment, as a child, to make this declaration in the Church would bring a form of Ire upon myself that was frightening to a child. Thus I suffered through 3 more years, until I was given the choice to attend public high school.

If you want to look at human behavior on strictly a logical basis, just consider a situation wherein nobody gives a shit about anyone else but themselves. There would be no unity, and the human race gets ALL of its strength from unity. Without it, we will be quickly added to the long list of extinct species on this planet.

Very interesting look at how digital recorders worked back in the 90s. I figured they just digitize the audio and store in memory as an audio file then stream the digital data through a DAC to be played. This explains why a lot of these lossy voice only recorders sound the way they do because music sounds super terrible and scrambled up on them and I guess the ones that can play back music and have it sound like music and not a scrambled mess. How does the newer model recorder that you have handle music?

James Randi has been debunked on dowsing physics. Read the book: The Art of Dowsing - Separating Science from Superstition ($14.95), by Michael Fercik. Learn how to build and all the physics involved in dowsing with the modern light weight ball bearing dowsing rod, which is the only dowsing rod that precisely gauges what is being dowsed by pitting the energy of gravity against the energizing of the pure one-tenth ounce dowsing rod load that is attached on the elevated acetylene welding rod, which free spins on ball bearings. This accurately gauges the dowsing of all edges, exact center, depth buried with angle of deposition, and most important is grading of the dowsed element that is contained in the elemental mass that is being dowsed. Anybody can become a professional dowser by practicing the book's dowsing lessons of buried pipelines and electrical cables, tunnels and voids, precious metal placer and lode deposits, dowsing for treasure, dowsing for any element, amplified long distance dowsing from a moving vehicle, and dowsing on water from a boat. I hope you are safe and healthy while having a good day.

The amount of species loss and habitat loss in the US over the past 30 years has been appaling. Everything is degraded, overrun by cows, and is now being destroyed by homeless people. There is already an environmental crisis caused by too many people consuming too much. And, morons want to add more and keep earing meat. Anyone that wants more kids should be required to live in skyscrapers in metropolises and never be allowed to leave. And, cattle should be illegal.

And what does Julius say in his book about the population bomb 💣? Here it is: The Ultimate Resource 2" is an influential work that challenges common perceptions about overpopulation and scarcity. Simon argues that human ingenuity and technological innovation consistently outpace population growth, leading to greater abundance and prosperity. He contends that people are the ultimate resource, capable of solving the challenges posed by population growth and environmental issues through innovation and adaptation. Overall, the book emphasizes the power of human creativity and the potential for unlimited progress.

@@shishirkumarsingh Simon was right in that most resources are not really limited (as far as human needs are concerned). However, like most economists, he did not have biodiversity or nature on his radar screen and thus was totally wrong (or rather ignorant) about human impact on nature.

I am around 1/2 way through and it sounds like we could sustain a heck of a lot more people if people in the developed world wanted to live mostly on plants and have a lifestyle more like people from India. It would likely wreck most of the world’s ecosystems and and make us a mass extinction event worse than the big rock that took out the dinosaurs but there is a lot of land in the world that is as habitable as the highly populated parts of India which is 10x as populous as the US. We would have to use a lot of energy just to get water in a lot of places but if we didn’t care about the environment or human welfare all that much we should be able to sustain tens of billions of people on earth with current technology.

While this may be possible, even in the long run as population peaks at one point, we probably would destroy most ecosystems and biodiversity along with it. I don't know thats something achievable.

Could it be that "science' often turn out to be dead wrong? 40 years ago, the universe is a "close universe", but now with space telescopes, the universe is infinite. Alzheimer was wrong blame on beta amyloid. This discarded theory was based on a fraudulent paper by a dishonest grad student. Billions went down the rat hole developing useless Alzheimer drugs. According to Dr Ioannidis, world class medical statistician at Stanford, a large majority of meta=analysis papers is garbage. Sorry, people reject good science because much of it is bad science. Probably 90% of drug research using contract clinical trial sites are garbage. mRNA had over 30 clinical sites, wherein the FDA only inspected 4 of them. Whistleblower says vaccinated volunteers were told to leave right after getting the shot. Of course, the drug company award clinics that come back with few negative results. And finally, CEO of Pfizer, Albert Bourna refuse to take his vaccine, until reporters harassed him. He then is shown in a picture with his sleeve roll up. Ahem, any 3rd party verified this CEO( fined over 13 billions dollars for drug misdeeds), actually took the vaccine? No, it is because they are like me, well informed, that the world of science is fraught with charlatans. Buyer beware. Don't be fooled by US corrupt science Big Pharma complex.

I LOVED your debunk of the Hinsdale house!! As someone who lives in Australia,it's impossible to say how true most of the hauntings in USA are...or even the hauntings in Australia for that matter. I'd like to believe in ghosts, and get that delicious scare thrill, but if there are ghosts out there, I'm sure they have better things to do than to keep coming night after night for the gratification of strangers. And doesn't every haunted house have a lady in white?or a black shadow man figure?
