My dad was a big Joe Meadows fan. I grew up listening to this album and wow, does it ever bring back a lot of memories. Thanks Take for putting this on your channel.

These guys were really great. I saw them at Drew University on 1975. Lew London branched off to play swing & variants of country, blues & rock. Catch his album "Swing Time in Springtime". Barry Mitterholf (mandolin) was great & ventured to play with Tex Logan, Peter Rowen & Jorma Kackone. I got to play on the Radio with Barry & his playing was superb. Also, what a great guy! I love how this album is mixed and recorded, as they should be. The main percussive instruments, rhythm guitar and banjo standing out, all other instruments softly played in the back. Perfect.
