Watching Phil air drum along with Nic breaks my heart. You know he’d love to be up there smashing out along side him. Thanks for sharing this. It doesn’t look like they will get to my part of the states in this tour. At least I saw them back in 07. It’s a band with so much incredible music.

Phil has been bashed so many times, but he always comes across charismatic and nice to me.

Lou Reed's original version for me is better. It is rawer. More spoken word. Peter does do a good cover. I think Lou would be appreciative.

If Mike and Tony wanted to reform Genesis and Phil and Peter were not interested they should ask Martin. So many other legendary bands hire musicians and singers from tribute bands and he is about the best I have ever seen.

Peter declined to participate due to some tour he was working at at the time. I'm not sure if Steve was asked to participate, but he did say that it didn't make sense for him to play without Peter, because most of the songs they would be playing would be from the period after Steve left the band. I wouldn't say that Steve "chickened out".

You know what they say. The Swan Grows Up and When it grows old..it flys waiting to begin the rest of his life. For Genesis, It was The Story Of Duke. And the band has finally reached Duke's End. Better Yet, Its Genesis' End. I still miss Phil Collins singing and drumming. But he is an author now soo live on Genesis. Thanks for making history in Music. :)

This was an historical concert tour ,. likely the very last time Genesis will ever be on stage together ,I have the DVD but its not like being there , Phil Collins officialy retired and most likely wont ever play drums again because of nerve damage,2007 tour was a great selection of shows ,as in Rome their last night together over 500,000 ppl attended , what ticks me off is Rolling Stone mag doesnt even have Genesis in the top 100 best groups of all time..what do they know? nothing

@aristotled1 2007 at the end of the final tour of Genesis. I was going to make the trip to see this one, but didn't. They called it a career in Los Angeles nearly 4 years ago.
