Hard question but of say the R1V4, VMG2 or Boom (so ignoring the V5 and VMG3 current models) which is 'generally' the most consistently fast around a course?
@juanvaldez116 күн бұрын
It depends on the conditions, but I would say R1V4. It‘s very stable and best downwind. And it has good power for riding in soft sand. The Boom is a little bit more difficult to ride, but very good up- and downwind. Both kites well trimmed have very good acceleration. VMG2 is very stable and best upwind, but downwind and acceleration is poor.

Wenn ich das richtig gesehen habe, kommt der Highendkite R1v4 nicht an einer "alten" Vapor 1 vorbei? Woran lag es, unterpowert?
@juanvaldez13 ай бұрын
Es kommt natürlich auch auf den Fahrer an. Marijn ist ein super Handlekiter und schwer zu überholen. Klar war ich mit der 7er unterpowert, aber vorher mit der 9er hatten die Handlekiter keine Chance. Hi Juan. Please, what is the gin instinct hb 6m - at what wind does it start pulling - riding and what is its top (if you rode it in such conditions)? I noticed you are selling it, so does it even make sense to go that size kit... Thanks a lot for your reply. Perfect videos by the way, I enjoy watching them. 😉🤙

Hi Adam! I rode the 6 only 2 times, but not at the limit. I think, you can use it 5-8bft. It‘s a very good kite - fast and very stable. But I also have R1V4 7.0 and PLKB 6.0, so no real need for the Instinct. too many kites…

A fantastic video once again showing off both kites well. I'm very curious why all the MG buggies I've seen have negative camber on the rear axle. In my mind slight positive camber would be advantageous?? I use 1 - 1 1/2degrees of positive camber for better traction with less friction.
@juanvaldez15 ай бұрын
Thank you, Chook! There is no MG Buggy in the video? Eric rides an Apexx and me a GT Race. I think the camber depends on the axle: a steel axle doesn´t bend, so it should have neutral camber. My carbon axle bends, so the camber is a little negative. I think, 1 or 2 degees have no effect with bigfoot wheels. Air pressure is much more important. With discwheels camber is important, but they all ride with negative camber.
@ChookHendo5 ай бұрын
@@juanvaldez1 Thank you for your reply. My error Juan I was tired and meant GT Race. The 4 that I have seen here in Australia have very noticeable negative camber. 2 of which it is very obvious with disc wheels fitted. In my mind it is the opposite to what is needed. Having the top of the wheels being slightly closer together adds more tyre traction/resisting the side pull. I totally agree with your comment regarding tyre pressures. Pressures do make an enormous difference. I'm running ceramic beads in my Bigfoots and this balances them well.
@juanvaldez15 ай бұрын
