昔、このライヴ版のレコード持ってました。金欠で売ってしまいましたが…スタジオ録音とは違いベースボーカルが強調されていて今聞いてもゾクゾクしますね。それにしてもボビーレスターのハスキーボイスは最高。

I remember that Dr. Jive used this recording as an intro to his popular radio show. At the time, I didn’t know it was Dean Barlow singing!

I was fortunate enough to see the remaining Moonglows at Radio City in NYC in 1985 . They still had the beautiful harmonies and sound that they always had !!!

Being 6-10 years old I have often spent summers with my grandparents at suburbs of Warsaw, PL. Very poor, catholic, working class couple. They rarely watched tv except news at evening, but whole day they have been tuned to radiostaion with classic tunes like this and other from 1930-60 era music. I am so glad that I was shaped in modesty and in the spirit of music barely heard today if not on youtube. This kind of music had been taking me to those times, where my grandparents had grew up in. Like a time machine. I feel like i share memories with some entity from that era, because sometimes I feel I belong more to those times back then, than to modern times. Kinda time misfit I am.

Awesome they were so talented A bit of true history Something to use your wits to think about When you live in a sick pathetic racist Devil society You try to vanish great talent such as the cabin kids only for one reason because they were Black Americans and talented gifted and entertaining However it's okay to keep the judy garlands shirley temples mickey roonies alive just to name a few nit to discredit their talents but the cabin kids were not only talented but they were extremely popular in their day but they didn't get the props they surely deserved Racism is from the pits of HELL with capital Burning H

Thank you Mark for commenting on your Father. I have a photo of your Father when he was in the Quartet when they were in the Coast Guard. I could E-mail that photo to you if you like. Do you remember what part your Father sang? Was he a Tenor or a Baritone? I would very much like to know more about your Father history with the Quartet. My name is Rev. Philip Beauchamp and you can get in touch with me at the vocalgroupharmony.com websites where I write music articles for them. Tony Fournier runs the websites. Take care.
